In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. I love the Black Bear Diner, so much so that I fulfilled my goal of filling up my BBD passport. I got my last stamp at the Santa Maria BBD on Father’s Day. Can’t wait too see what my last prize will be. It was quite a journey!
While attending the Chuckars Baseball game I sampled a few of the pies, and oh my.. they are to die for! My husband and I have eaten at the Diner a few times and it is now one of our top choices, great food for a great price! Thanks Black Bear Diner for the great service and AMAZING food! Also wonderful staff, keep up the hard work!
