In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Bullhead City location is amazing!!! The food was always on the mark and all of the staff were happy and friendly. So helpful to tourists in the area. India was our favorite! Can't wait to go back to the area for more great food!
5 stars to "Jeff" at the Milpitas Black Bear Diner location. His excellent customer service was accommodating and professional. This was our first time at a Black Bear Diner. It is employees like him that keep customers coming back!

Great food.
My husband took me to Black Bear for a late breakfast this morning. When we arrived it was crowded. When a sit opened up I immediately sat down on a bench. There was room for others to sit. A gentleman told his wife to sit and she blatantly refused, WE ARE NOT SITTING THERE . It was obvious she had a problem sitting next to an African American woman. I have been a server for over 30 years have worked in a lot of restaurants and this is one I enjoy going to very much!!! As a server I know what to look for and expect when going out to eat. I have been to this location and have NEVER been disappointed!! The food is always hot and good, prices are fair, service is good and I even noticed the manager walking around filling people’s coffee making sure everything is fine. Nice to see a MANAGER OUT ON THE FLOOR. Will be back time and time again with the family!!
