In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Black Bears food and service staff are awesome
Husband and I went for lunch in Puyallup, WA and it was really good. I had the Bacon Cheeseburger salad and he had the Biscuit, Gravy and Eggs breakfast. The portion was huge and ended up bringing home leftovers. We will be back again.

Would give it a 4 and a half but you cant do halves. The one in Fountain is awesome. I have had one bad experience and one awesome one. Karsta ( pronounced Costa) is one awesome server. I got the shrimp tacos. They were bland as all get out. She asked me how they were and I told her I wouls get back to her. She came by a little while later and asked again. I told her they were bland. She asked what we could do. I gave her some suggestions and she went in the back and made a spicy sour cram for me to put on the second one. Wa... read more
#BBDBigDaddy I love the service here Natalie and Yessica are wonderful and the food is the best in town... Specially the BIG DADDY BURGER!! It is HUGE and DELICIOUS!!!
First discovered Black Bear in Goodyear, Ariz....it is our go to breakfast place whenever we are in Phoenix...was amazed to find one in Idaho Falls and the all the locations in the west...wish we had some on the East Coast...great food, huge portions and wonderful waitresses wherever we have gone!
