In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. RecommendedJust a couple of days after Hurricane Laura made landfall close to us, we needed a distraction and placed two orders of chicken fried steak hoping to get some sense of normalcy in our lives. Wow I got them for Uber eats because the food looked amazing. I had the scrambowl and my girlfriend had the French toast. Everything was amazing huge portions and good price. Please everyone go there now we have to keep amazing places like this going.
