In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Wow I got them for Uber eats because the food looked amazing. I had the scrambowl and my girlfriend had the French toast. Everything was amazing huge portions and good price. Please everyone go there now we have to keep amazing places like this going.
Dropped into the Madras, OR location today about 2pm’ish. Our server was great she made a mistake on one of the orders and immediately corrected it. No worries. She was very attentive and always making sure our food was good and the drinks were always full. Just curious about a conversation I overheard between a manager and I think a brand new employee that from what I heard had maybe only been on the job a couple of hours. The food is outstanding! Do not pass this place up! Stop by & eat some of the best diner food you'll ever find! This place should be on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives for sure!
