I took my 17 year old kitty there in January since my mobile vet was unable to come see my kitty sooner. They were great, expedient, good assessment, no extra tests that were not necessary. I have since gone back a few times and they always provide great service for a very reasonable price. I would recommend this veterinary to other pet owners!
What a contrast to our previous vet in the area. Our 5 year old Golden Retriever was in desperate straights and unable to keep any food down, spewing from both ends across several days. we had taken him to a different vet who seemed more interested in finance than our dog, and after examination, shots and treatments (all same day) sent us home with little information. We received the best care for our dog! We are new to the area and the reviews on Yelp lead us here. Our fur baby wasn't feeling well & the staff got us in the same day. Everyone was very kind & professional. I'm glad I found this place. I will be continuing care for my dogs here in the future.
The hospital is great. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Very gentle with my geriatric dog. Unfortunately they no longer provide boarding services.
I cannot say enough good things about Countryside Animal Hospital. I was taking my pups to Banfield and after many weeks of not being able to help my pup with an ear infection I took him to Countryside, the Vet took cultures of his ears and knew what needed to be done. Dr. Widener packed his ears with antibiotics and gave him a few orals he had to be on. Within a few days, we noticed a HUGE difference in my pup. Seriously the most caring animal hospital I've ever been too!! My dog had a swollen eye lid a couple days ago so i had to drop him to my normal vet (Banfield - i know, terrible idea) otherwise, i would have to wait 2 weeks to make an appointment. They told me it was a hair follicle ingrown type of condition, and prescribed me eye drops and sent me on my way.. Best pet care in Tempe, hands down! From initial appointment scheduling to doctor visits to follow up calls, I just can't ask for better quality service! I have three senior pets (one very grumpy oldman cat and two sweet old Pomeranians) and am so appreciative of the thorough care they receive at Countryside Animal Hospital. This is the best vet ever!! As soon as we came in Kim was absolutely amazing. She's so friendly and welcoming. When I had a sick pet she got down on their level and made them feel safe and comfortable. When I brought back a healthy pet she was just as sweet and caring. Dr. Dunning is also very friendly and knowledgeable. I love that they don't try to sell me anything or push products while still making me aware of anything my pet will need. Countryside Animal Hospital is by far the best pet clinic you can take your furbabies to. The staff go above and beyond with EVERY VISIT.My pups are always excited to see their friends (staff) and their most favorite people, Kim and Dr. Ciminello. Dr. Ciminello takes her time to allow your fur babies to trust her. She bonds with them and adores them with love as if they were her own.
