I cannot say enough good things about Countryside Animal Hospital. I was taking my pups to Banfield and after many weeks of not being able to help my pup with an ear infection I took him to Countryside, the Vet took cultures of his ears and knew what needed to be done. Dr. Widener packed his ears with antibiotics and gave him a few orals he had to be on. Within a few days, we noticed a HUGE difference in my pup. Seriously the most caring animal hospital I've ever been too!! My dog had a swollen eye lid a couple days ago so i had to drop him to my normal vet (Banfield - i know, terrible idea) otherwise, i would have to wait 2 weeks to make an appointment. They told me it was a hair follicle ingrown type of condition, and prescribed me eye drops and sent me on my way.. Best pet care in Tempe, hands down! From initial appointment scheduling to doctor visits to follow up calls, I just can't ask for better quality service! I have three senior pets (one very grumpy oldman cat and two sweet old Pomeranians) and am so appreciative of the thorough care they receive at Countryside Animal Hospital. My three babies are all enrolled in annual PAW plans, which are an affordable way to get preventative and emergent care throughout the year. This is the best vet ever!! As soon as we came in Kim was absolutely amazing. She's so friendly and welcoming. When I had a sick pet she got down on their level and made them feel safe and comfortable. When I brought back a healthy pet she was just as sweet and caring. Dr. Dunning is also very friendly and knowledgeable. I love that they don't try to sell me anything or push products while still making me aware of anything my pet will need. Countryside Animal Hospital is by far the best pet clinic you can take your furbabies to. The staff go above and beyond with EVERY VISIT.My pups are always excited to see their friends (staff) and their most favorite people, Kim and Dr. Ciminello. Dr. Ciminello takes her time to allow your fur babies to trust her. She bonds with them and adores them with love as if they were her own. Our experience at Countryside Animal Hospital and Dr Dunning was fantastic. We just moved to the area and we were made to feel right at home. Everyone was professional and beyond helpful. Dr. Dunning, was very knowledgeable and thorough. Coming from medical backgrounds, I can say that we were very impressed.

My dog Tucker seen both Dr. Hoppe and Dr. Widener here and I love them both! Tucker can sometimes get nervous when he's in new places but everyone including front desk staff was so kind to him that he warmed right up on our first visit. Whenever we bring Tucker in whether it's for a check up or he's sick, the Dr's always give us all the information possible, help us pick the best treatment, and treat Tucker as if he were their own dog. I can't recommend this place enough!

We've been going to Countryside for about 6 years. Dr Dunning is amazing. I've referred friends and family and they agree he his awesome. We recently lost our sweet Boxer Roxy to a mast cell tumor. Dr Dunning was wonderful. His compassion and love for animals exceeds all comprehension. He is the Vet a family wants, to care for furry family members, in Health and when it's time to say goodbye. Thank you once again Yelpers for your solid star rating! You all were right once again. We recently relocated and my kitty was exhibiting litter box avoidance. I kept an eye on this until I noticed Simba had a swollen toe and pad so upon discovering what the actual problem was I called and was able to get a same day appointment.
