Volvo of Dallas has had my car for 4 WEEKS to fix minor things: loose body piece on passenger side near the front tire, busted speakers, and a check engine light that was due to not having closed the gas cap tight enough. Nobody I talked to knows what's going on. They all say that they will take care of it, but they don't call back.
I called to make sure a vehicle was in stock before I came in. They told me it was in stock but a few hours later when I got there they told me they sold it. It is now two weeks later and the car is still listed on the website. I believe they are intentionally decietful about their inventory to bring in customers.
I just wanted everyone to know that Volvo of Dallas responded back to my review on 10/20/10, and as I would have expected, totally lied. Everything they responded to on my complaint was made up to make me look like I was the villain. I guess when you lie to so many people, you try to save face by making it sound like the customer is wrong. I just wish they would have fessed up to how they low balled me and lied to get me to come back and tried to get more money from me when I returned. While we try our very best to provide our customers with excellent customer service we unfortunately do not control the value of vehicles. Mr. Gates picked out a vehicle off our wholesale lot that was a car scheduled to go to the auction. He asked that we clean it up and he would return the following day with his wife to purchase. Went in looking for a used vehicle, originally looking at the Acura but test drove other cars as well, Chris and financing did everything they could to put me in a car. A much better experience then the one I had just a few weeks earlier at another local dealership. I would recommend this dealership to anyone, they still owe me a car wash and a tank of gas because they even stayed late for me to finish my deal and pick up my car on a Friday evening but I don't mind having to drop in and see them again.

I have an attorney involved, the State of Texas involved, I just called and email Volvo Corporation but should have known they would be be of no help. I took by car in for a 45,000 mile service. It was not ready when I arrived the next morning and had to wait for 1 hour for them to finish. That afternoon, my tried to start my car and the battery seemed nearly dead - a clicking sound was heard. My husband looked at the car and said the battery had not been serviced nor the pads replaced. We had to change the battery out ourselves. I have issues with my paint job, the car had 670 miles on it and it sold as a new car. I took it in for some curbing on the front bumper they fixed it. I noticed the next time I hand washed it, it had some touch up paint on the front. I did not put it there, but have not been able to get service department have tried 3 times. Bought a used vehicle here. Olivier also helped me, must have told me 10 times "we are the most prestigious used dealership in texas" please. If you are the best at something, you don't need to tell everyone who walks in the door multiple times. Also, any moron that buys a Volvo, is not prestigious, just stupid... They are driving a "status" car just like another piece of absolute garbage, the Land rover.
