Adam was professional and courteous. He was honest about the issues with our foundation and offered contacts for both repair and investment companies.
They were thorough with their work. They were pleasant to me during their inspection. They were fast and responsive to my questions.
They communicated very well, and it was a great experience working with them. I would recommend them. .
To start off the reception clerks are extremely rude, condescending, and abrupt. They definitely need to brush up their customer service skills. The inspection was conducted by an underling who basically just took elevation readings around the house and walked away within 28 minutes. This process according to them was supposed to take an hour and a half. They are now trying to make me pay for a report which they have not even given me. Utterly unprofessional, inept and would definitely not recommend this company.
We hired Crosstown for a foundation inspection of our home. Crosstown sent out a representative, Daniel, to do the inspection. The report was turned around quickly at least. Daniel completed the work, although he was very rude and condescending. We were then given a engineering report stamped by Adam Green, someone that had never stepped into our house. I'm curious to know what credentials Daniel has. Overall, this was a poor service.
I told the lady on the phone before making the appointment that I need a professional who can give me detailed information about my foundation and not just a basic measurement and a visual, and the same goes for my drainage system. And that I may need to use this information in court.
Adam did a great job going over our foundation to help justify the piers we would need installed. I have been dealing with this nightmare since November 2018, and after Adam came by today, I finally see light at the end of the tunnel. Make sure you get an independent engineer to tell you how many piers you need before hiring a foundation company to do it. I would call out about four different foundation companies for estimates as well.
Adam arrived on time. Spent about an hour inside taking measurements and outside checking drainage and cracks in brick veneer. Comprehensive report with specific recommendations received next day via email. Truthful assessment. My Dallas TX home is combination pier/beam (63 yr) and concrete slab (45 yr). Slab showing signs of needing support only. Fee reduction since I paid by check. I can now get accurate quotes.
I gave a low rating because I hired this company to help me make a cost efficient decision regarding the foundation of my home. I explained my situation to the engineer, and his professional opinion was very high dollar based on the schematic he developed. I sent his paperwork to a few foundation repair companies, and one contacted me saying he disagreed with the recommendation and spoke to another engineer at Crosstown and the engineer agreed with him. I then spoke to this other engineer myself and he told me the same thing... read more
