The staff was friendly and the food was great (5 stars), but the bottle of wine stated $38 on the Menu, but billed $68. Later, went to Bar and ordered the same Cab by the glass where Menu stated $10 but Billed $17. They corrected the error and I must assume that responsibly, management will review each and every bill to credit back that difference From past patrons. Otherwise, great Restaurant with good music Friday.

Haven't been there in a very very long time . I loved their food but boy are you going to pay for it . Back when they were reasonable I went often . What happened? New owners turned it into a white tablecloth restaurant from a red checkered family restaurant

We were celebrating a significant anniversary with another couple who suggested Culpepper Cattle. After a conversation with the waitperson about the steak quality, we followed his suggestion and both couples ordered the Prime Ribeye. WHAT a DISAPPOINTMENT!! I had cooked a nice Prime Tenderloin at home with meat from a supermarket just a few days before and have had Prime beef often. I have tried Culpeppers twice since the reopening and have been disappointed both times. Ordered fried shrimp and house salad. The salad came out first and then the shrimp second. The shrimp were in just a bowl, no sauce, no garnish, just a bowl of shrimp. Asked if they had sauce and was told no tartar sauce or cocktail sauce but they had steak sauce......so just a bowl of fried shrimp for $19.

11/25/2023 Our 20 year anniversary. We have been long time customers, every birthday, valentines day, anniversary this was our place foe many years and I am sure many others feel the same. No more fine dining in Rockwall, so sad. They may as well label it a Chilis, but Chilis food is a bit better. It is now just another sad tex-mex restaurant, like we don't have enough? Been going here since 1991. Was excited to try menu with new owners. In short. Not impressed. I got the $80.00 ribeye. It's was only 5/8" thick (not 16oz as stated) no grill marks, or char. It served with a pad of butter on top but immediately on delivery to the table. It was already cold to the point even the butter would not melt. Yes it was tender but no it was not worth $80 and I guess they thought I'd believe it was 16oz. The baked potato was just an average dry baked potato, not loaded at all. I need to go when all those people who are giving great reviews go. My experiences haven't been good at all. The food is mediocre at best and that is being generous. Waite staff and hostesses were very accommodating and friendly. One star for food and five star for staff.

Ordered faitias for two and chips and dip to go. Got home and i got just what i ordered i guess. Chicken and beef faitias ( not enough to feed one person) no beans no rice no tortillas. Just alittle meat and chips and dip? Not going to make this mistake again...

Flour tortillas and butter are served in place of bread. They were very thick and needed more time on the grill. Asked for salsa. They do not serve it. Thought we would order the fajitas but found out they do not serve them with green bell peppers. And no salsa. Thought we would order the fried shrimp. No tartar sauce.
