TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

have heard such great things about Dave's Hot Chicken and it did not disappoint! such great tasting chicken, very fresh and enjoyed it very much! Sam, the cashier that took our order was super helpful when asked questions and was the absolute sweetest! 10/10 clucks! can't wait to come back and try extra hott!
The restaurant itself has a nice feel to it good music and art, the chicken is really tasty and seasoned well! Will definitely come again and thank you to Uriel for helping us out making sure the chicken was to our liking and the fries were nice and crispy !
So glad they brought this up to the AV! Even though they're busy, the service is quick and the staff is super nice! It's always nice when you go to a new place and the staff is welcoming. You can eat inside and there is ample parking. The chicken strips are amazing! So crisp on the outside and the chicken is perfect. I've gone up to extra-hot and it is spicy but not unbearable, which is good. I would definitely recommend checking it out.

Wow. First time in this place and it was super good. The chicken tender and slider combo was my choice. One spicy other mild. It was so tasty and fresh that this is now my favorite chicken joint. The pickles are crunchy and yummy and love Dave's sauce with my fries. Only nit pick is the milk shakes are not that good but it's a chicken place!!! Highly recommend.

This happen on the 6/11/25:your chicken is mid everything about it is mid I wanted to try it but when I got it the only good thing was the fruit punch the #2 was mid the chicken wasn't asnt hot and the sauce tasted like mayo. I waited in line for 30min. And it was for my birthday I am highly disappointed
Asked for extra pickles and received none, plus there was a hair on my burger. I love Dave's Hot Chicken but today I'm disappointed
