Cute exterior! Wait time for the drive-through was pretty long and the portion size is pretty massive. If I go back I think I would be happy ordering a slider and fries on the sides menu- The meals also don't come with a drink just so you know ‍. The Hot option for the tenders does not mess around which is pretty great if you are into that and the chicken is juicy! Dave's is on par with another highly related and popular hot chicken place in Winter Park. My wife and I both got Hot which was enough heat to make you feel it, but not overwhelming. I got the sandwich loaded with cheese and my wife got the tenders, both with fries and cheese. The portion of food was enough to fill you with the ability to question over eating. I'd eat again over any other chicken place around.

I'm not really one to leave a review for a fast food chain, but the negative posts for an establishment that JUST opened up need a little balance. Yeah we had to wait a bit, they were SLAMMED for their *first* day. The staff was extremely courteous & apologetic - personally I would rather wait than be fed raw chicken, crazy right? My husband had the mild sliders (way bigger than what I would consider sliders) with fries, I had the Reaper slider with fries, we shared the creamiest mac & cheese I've ever had from a fast foot j... read more

First day in operation and there were issues understandably about time. It took 19 minutes for our "fast food" order to come up. Fries were good but cold. Chicken was well cooked but the crust was not to our liking. We had a mild and medium spice. And it's not inexpensive! $30 for two 2-piece chicken + fries (no drinks). Manager stopped by to see how things were and we told him, and he comped our meal (not the reason we came, but thanks.) It's not taking any business from the Chick Fillet across the street!!
