TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

The staff was very welcoming, and recommended great things from the menu. Loved the art on the walls. Regarding the food the chicken was juicy and well spiced!

Very good service, good menu. Food was very good quality all around. They know how to prepare fried chicken and their Dave sauce. Plus their Prices are reasonable.

So happy that there is a new location closer to me. I have followed Dave's Hot Chicken from LA and as a native New Yorker, it is nice to have an authentic chicken sandwich. There have been no lines / wait times every time I've visited. The food is flavorful and always comes out warm

I would compare this to the 7th Street Burger that's popping up all over the city: simple small menu but with spicy fried chicken instead of burgers. There's only 4 choices on the menu between the chicken sandwiches, they call sliders, and chicken tenders. They also offer cauliflower as a vegan alternative which is actually pretty decent. I got the #3 ($15), which gets you one slider, one tender and fries. The medium would provide the most balanced flavor with a little kick.
