Horrible experience. We had an appointment and the girl was m.i.a the whole time! Worst experience ever. We will stick to the boutiques!! Quality was bad too - we couldn't get out of there fast enough!!!
Overall I'd say that the service at D.B. is not a "personal" experience. It's what you would expect at a chain dress shop. The woman who was helping me find dresses, was multitasking throughout the store, and that is pretty much how every employee was! They were kind of all over the place! So, if you go there, just know that you won't have an employee with you at all times... They sort of bounce around. (You will most likely have the same employee the entire time though!) However..... Dear David's Bridal - I called to order my gown for my friends wedding ...... I was put on hold for 19 minutes - long distance - then hung up on ..... and when I called directly back the phone rang for 2 solid minutes no answer. I had given the size, the party name, I even had the dress code. I'm not sure what else I could have done to expedite this purchase vs. coming there and processing the request with my own hands. Now I'm appalled I have to purchase my gown somewhere that has such poor customer service!
While I normally try to write the great things about companies I experience I have to say only bad things about David's bridal. They told me they called several times to let me know a bridesmaid dress came in.....which never happened. So they finally called me to tell me that they were shipping it to the brides home address in long island. This wasn't just my dress that this happened with but also another girl in the bridal party. I have no way to provide minus stars as I am pissed with the overall service and competance of this store as a whole. Understand this....THIS STORE SUCKS AND I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE AGAIN!!! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THIS STORE!! All the dresses for the wedding party were paid for at the time of order and since this store is a little more than 1 hour from our house, dealing with this store has been even more irritating. To say I was appalled by the service in which I along with the rest of my party recieved, would be an understatement. Our consultant was rude, did not show any interest whatsoever in actually helping us to find dresses and in fact was snappy. With 6 woman in our party who have all/do work in customer service it was concerning to experience such awful service at a place in which we were all looking to drop triple digets.
