Four positive things: 1) Our attendant was attentive as much as she could be for a chaotic Saturday and trying to help at least two other parties of people. 2) We managed to pick a dress within our 90 min appointment and first time wedding dress shopping. 3) The dress was on sale and came in on budget even with taxes. 4) This may have been unintentional and mostly because they were busy, but we were left alone for periods of time which made it feel less pushy and like we had space to breathe without a sales person on top of ... read more

Absolutely horrible. Had five dresses ordered for a wedding, a dress for the bride, maid of honor, and three brides maids. Four out of five dresses were wrong when we received them. Literally had to drive over an hour to get here only to realize almost everything was messed up including the bride's dress. There is much more to add here, but I will leave it at this. I do not suggest going there and we will never go there again.

Bad experiences BOTH times I've been here for dresses! Today we were assigned a lady who barely helped us but we looked around to see every other woman trying on dresses had someone right beside them taking there time, asking questions about what they liked, finding them dresses etc. Good thing I brought a good group of people with me or I would have been pretty much on my own! I am extremely disappointed with Davids Bridal. Not only did I have an issue with my scheduled appointment, but I was forced to share my consultant with a walk in. I scheduled my Davids Bridal appointment for my bridal party on 12/11/16, for an apppintment on 01/08/17. Almost a month in advance. Wouldn't recommend shopping here. It's the Walmart of bridal. Not only was I mislead by the "sale," but I had to pull all my own dresses. Zero customer service. Ended up paying full price for the floor model dress that 100 people probably put on. Nasty. What should have been a great experience that I would remember forever, it sucked.

My sister is getting married, we were looking for reception dress for her, bridesmaid and mothers dresses. Our consultant asked for a price point and never brought a dress within it. She pulled dresses that were more then double the budget. Told us bridesmaid dresses would take 20 weeks, they will be here in 4. Also told me they can't order the dress and have it delivered to another store, I live 4 hours from this store. Went in to get a bridal gown for my niece and bridesmaid dresses as well. Was told AFTER we did all the measurements and fittings that there was no more layaway and when I mentioned middletown, the consultant went and got her manager and the manager of the store told us there was no more layaway there either. My sister in law and I found this to be a little alarming because I had to put mine on layaway as well as bridesmaid gowns, so she had another party member call Middletown. I am livid with your Colonie, NY location! I ordered a dress for my 2017 wedding on September 1st. Apparently it was received by the store two weeks ago and I received a phone call TONIGHT at 5:30 PM telling me that my dress had been there for two weeks and I needed to decide TONIGHT what I wanted to do with my dress (either ship it to me or pick it up).
