I didn’t like the idea of giving a bride an hour to pick out her just the one wedding dress

I highly recommend making an appointment before going. You are flat out ignored if you don’t. I asked 2 associates for help with a fitting room. The first absolutely blew us off. The second at least offered to find someone else to help us. We actually were discussing looking for a dress elsewhere when someone finally found a moment to speak to us. We found a dress and my daughter is happy. That’s all that matters at this point.

Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the woman who helped us and I’ve tried calling twice now to obtain that information, only to be left on hold. I NEVER give poor reviews to places, but our experience on Sunday has caused me to make an exception. On Sunday I brought 4 out of my 7 bridesmaids to David’s Bridal in Danvers. I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE. Our " consultant " did NOTHING. I pulled all the dresses for my girls. With Covid " only 2 people were allowed with me " which I was not told when booked the appointment, the consultant we had was so rude to the people with me. Basically said they had to sit upfront with all the other " extras " makes a lot of sense right? I take COVID serious, but it should have been addressed before the appointment. If no stars was an option that’s what I would give them. We got no greeting when we walked in, our associate didn’t even help us pick out and dresses and told us she would just pick up the dresses and put them by the dressing room. When the bride found a few she brought them to the dressing room and told her she wasn’t going to help her put them on and fit them to her because “she had another bride at the same time” and told us Melissa would help. Unprofessional. You can’t actually get any dress in any colour. No measurements we taken. Too crowded especially for covid times. On the plus side there’s lots of selection and the prices are great.

I’m MOH for my sister’s wedding and have been horribly mistreated by David’s Bridal staff. First, a saleswoman refused to let me try on dresses in my size and would only give me 0 or 2 to try on (I’m typically a 4 and can even go up to an 8 on their illogical sizing). Why, I’m not sure. Then she ordered a dress two sizes too small. I wish I remembered her name because I was in shock over how rude this woman was.
