Just don’t go if you have a choice. I knew better but I wanted the dress they had. Once again I walk away saying never again. So now I’m looking for someone to help me fix my dress that I was told “oh NO PROBLEM” we can do that. Oh they tried to give suggestions that even my 3 year old niece would know would look tacky.

I really wanted to “five star” my experience at David’s bridal in Columbia, but all it takes is one bad experience to make the overall experience not great. When I went for my bridal appointment on February 17, Ms. Trent was more than accommodating. She was very nice and patient. I didn’t really have an idea of what I wanted and she brought dresses that were outside of my comfort zone and I ended up picking one that I didn’t think I would pick for myself. Well the first thing they can improve on is after a client pays over $350 for alterations when the bride comes in two days before her wedding to pick up the dress, and it doesn't t fit how about you coach your workers not to tell the woman that it's because she doesn't take care of her body calling somebody fat after she paid almost $400 in alterations is not a good move. My daughter was suppose to get married in May 2020 but due to pandemic it was postponed first to September 2020 then waited till June 2021. The brides dress was bought in early 2020 along with bridesmaids dresses and 4 flower girl dresses for my granddaughters. My soon to be daughter-in-law dress came in she went and picked it up when she got home several pieces of Lace were not stitched in the threads were hanging some of the button loops were wrong and some dark couple stains on the dress that was $600. Her and her grandmother took the dress back to ask them to fix the dress and they refused. My family has done years of business with this bridal shop but never again. Worst experience of my life. They allow MEN in the women’s fitting room area, and employee came into help me figure out a complicated bridesmaid dress and left my door hang wide open, the man literally saw everything I had to offer, (you can’t wear a bra, when trying on dresses). I started screaming that there was a man in the fit to my room area so he left, THEN the 4 women with him invited him back in a second time, as if the first time wasn’t traumatizing enough for me. I went to David’s this weekend to have my mom try on dresses for my wedding. Well when we got there we were told to browse around and a stylist would be right with us. So we looked around and looked at styles etc. our stylist finally comes over and sees that we haven’t really picked anything. So she goes and says well I’ll back back I have to help a bride.
