I went last night to search for a bridesmaid dress for my best friend wedding I am in .i booked a 5pm appointment and had the lady all to myself right so I thought. Tiffany was able to grab me any dress I wanted but I had to find her first. She was too busy rearranging coffee mugs or necklaces. Never asking how I was doing unless I called out for her. At age 57, I can’t believe I have not yet shopped the David’s Bridal experience. My mom made my wedding dress 34 years ago, and the only wedding I was in, my dress was also made. So, after some horrible in-line shopping for the perfect dress for my youngest son’s wedding, I was encouraged to go to David’s bridal by a dear friend. Dislike the Tampa store. Very Rude. Not a nice experience for My Daughter who was excited to go.
Tried to leave detailed reason, but Facebook not cooperating. I's say this is poor customer service after purchase. Bought expensive dress 5+ months before wedding. David's Bridal scheduled fitting at that time for 3 months later. David's Bridal sent text message to bride day before appointment. When arrived at appointment next day, dress was not there. David's staff deflected blame to dress maker. At that time, alteration person told us that dresses don't arrive until 2 weeks before wedding. Then why set fitting 2+ months ... read more
Everyone at the shop was very friendly. No complaints there. And my bridesmaids dress came in rather quickly after I ordered it (about 1 month). But the 3 stars is because when I got home from picking up the dress, I noticed that the clasp was damaged/loose & actually fell off the dress when I went to inspect it. It’s not comforting that I paid full price for a damaged dress.
It was super busy over crowded and not one on one attention at all. My stylist had me and another bride and was not helpful or knowledgeable at all. The dress selection was good, but my stylist wasn't even pulling my correct sizes therefore couldn't get a good fill for the dresses.
99% of the dresses were sleeveless. And limited colors.
Fantastic experience!! Olivia Vandenbosch was so wonderful helping me find my wedding dress! I went to other bridal shops and the service didn’t even come close to the wonderful, caring service I had from Oliva! I said YES to the dress!!!
Do not waste your time in this store. We made an appointment two weeks ago. My daughter sent pictures of the dresses she was interested in. They had NONE of them. They assigned her an employee who was brand new and clearly needed help. The manager FINALLY stepped in after two hours and lots of frustration, but she was useless. They told us that if the wedding was in 4 weeks, they could rush the order and get the dresses the girls wanted, but because the wedding was later, they would not be able to get them in time.
