I will never recommend the alterations dept to ANYONE at David's Bridal. They took my dress the first time and charged me $380. When I went back to pick it up, IT DIDN'T EVEN CLOSE!!! I gave then another chance and they made changes to the dress that I didn't even WANT!!! And it still didn't fit like it was supposed to. A bride shouldn't go thru this for her wedding day. My daughter bought her wedding gown at David's Bridal. When she picked it up and brought it home, she found it thrown in the bag and holes in the illusion sleeves. She had to take it back and reorder another one. The sales lady we had was NO HELP!! Her nails were so long she couldn't assist my daughter with the buttons on the back of the dress, I helped her try on the gowns. I've never seen a business so poorly ran in my life. I was scheduled with a "stylist" today from 2:30-4:00, however, once I arrived I was told that no one was available to assist me. Why? Because of the number of walk ins! The option of scheduling an appointment is useless if you have no intentions of honoring it? Also, the absolute lack of professionalism and organization was shocking to me. The employees offered no direction whatsoever and customers were walking around in the shop completely confused. Absolutely horrid place to do business with. My full review is on Google and YELP if you want further information. But I'm warning every bride out there: DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.
Horrible customer service. My fiance and I went in just to get some information and catalogs. The lady at the reception desk was rude and acted as if we were a bother to her. She made me feel like I couldn't ask questions and never said "thank you" or "have a nice day" or even "goodbye" as we left! Needless to say I won't be going back.
Negative experience...would not recommend!! Bought a pair of shoes online for my son's wedding. Found a different pair elsewhere. Tried to return shoes bought at David's Bridal. Was told they do not take returns. These shoes were NOT a special order nor had they been worn. Had I known this I never would have purchased them in the first place!
I bought my dress from David's bridal. Paid over $1000 for it and they made me pay $10 for a garment bag. Nickle and diming every step of the way. Then i bought a preservation kit from them- huge mistake. I paid $200 including the upgrade to receive a box with my dress badly squished to one side. Even worse, your eye immediately gets drawn to the gross black hair right under the display window (and it's not mine). And the box is sealed, so nothing i can do without breaking the seal. THE ABSOLUTE WORST. Their customer service is awful. Their online customer service is even worse. My friends ask where I got my wedding dress from I tell, but I send them in the opposite direction. My sisters shoes finally came in... They ordered and sent the completely wrong shoe. This is getting out of hand. If my wedding wasn't so damn close I would sell my dress and start over else where. ����������
