Today I tried to call and make the final payment on my daughters dress. I was informed that once paid in full I must pick the dress up within 24hours. I said we were told we could arrange alterations for next week and come in for a fitting then and that I am working all weekend and can't pick the dress up now. She told me they have nowhere to store it. What????? You can store the dress until I pay you in full ??? I'm not usually one to always make bad reviews and be rude towards other people, but I have had the WORST experience with David's bridal in Monroe. On the day I went to say yes to the dress, the stylist did not help me find a single dress and had me doing all of the work. Then finally when she did bring a dress to me it was the one silhouette I told her I DID NOT want! They didn't do anything special for me to make me feel like a bride. Got lied to was told when bought my dress I could get my money back expect the $41 they keep when I went in for alterations it cost almost as much as dress. Had I known any of this I would not have bought from them. I will never be shopping or recommending them to anyone. Compleat liers if you can't hire people that know there stuff then u shouldn't hire them.... it's ridiculous to pay that much and be lied to about alterations costs.
Horrible experience. Went in with my best friend, who was planning on purchasing 5 bridesmaid dresses, knew exactly which dress we wanted to see, and we were ignored for 30 minutes, browsing on our own. When a saleswoman FINALLY acknowledged us and asked what we wanted, we had the time to say "We're interested in bridesmaid dresses." and nothing more before she told us "Oh, well you're free to browse." Awful! Unattentive staff, rude managers, not aware of brands or sizes. Ordered my bridesmaids the wrong dresses and didn't fix it, even tried to charge extra to fix the mistake!
Thankfully I was able to find my dress but with the help of my mom and sister.. My supposed consultant kept disappearing who knows where and when she would come back it was with a bad attitude almost like I was being an inconvenience. I had to request for a new one which thankfully she was so much better than the first. Then I had to go for alterations which was another ordeal. The first lady came and was super nasty. Worst experience ever, wonder why most of their ratings are 1 star. Horrible customer service.
I went into my appointment at David's Bridal without having a clue what to expect, as it was my first time trying on wedding dresses and I was nervous, but very excited! That excitement ended the second I walked in the door. Not only was my party hardly greeted, but when my mother asked if my consultant was having a good day, she responded with "ehhhh not really, I overslept this morning and was late for work."
