My first experience with them was in 08/2015. I took with me my mom, my grandma, and my 2 bridesmaids. The only issue I had then was I told my sales person that I didn't want to order anything right away because I was losing weight. I wanted to pay for the dress if I found one but wanted to put off the ordering of the dress for another 4 months. She said that was fine. I found my dress and paid for it. Poor dress quality and paid way too much money for the dress to fall apart!
I'll go ahead and repeat the warnings posted by others...this store has NO customer service at all! They are incredibly hard to deal with and good luck getting a hold of anyone on the phone. If you want to order anything, I suggest ordering online and avoiding this store at all costs.
I would advise you to not even CONSIDER David's bridal in Johnson City. The assistant manager at this store is VERY RUDE. She does not care about your special day. The poor girl taking care of me had four other parties to tend to, however she was very helpful and caring. After picking a dress, and being ASSURED a price for it, we were set to take that dress home today. I live out of state and had to have my aunt and uncle take my cousin to get fitted for her flower girl dress. We paid $100 for the dress and they charged over $120 for alterations. That is ridiculous how can it cost more than the dress itself ! I think there should be a cap especially on a child's dress. I tried to keep the budget low but if anyone asks for recommendations I'd say you should look elsewhere!
You need to believe the negative comments on this page. Currently dealing with shipping errors, poor customer service, and getting a run around in regards to refunds. Manager is at least trying to correct the errors, however from the beginning of May it has been nothing but a headache. Hence why I've decided to return the dresses and call it quits with the company. Absolutely ridiculous when it's a huge store with many locations. Awful. After my experience today, trying to find a Junior bridesmaid dress for my daughter, I remembered why I swore I'd never return 10 years ago (when they ordered the wrong bridal gown for myself and refused to correct their mistake, when they did so after a long drawn out discussion with managers and calling corporate, it was at my expense as I had to pay extra for rushed alterations, a rush on the gown; etc) Fast forward to today, 10 years later, they're still as awful as ever.
