Well the salesperson was nice.. but the manager or expert was what the salesperson called her didn't care to help much... Book never again
Out of the hour and a half of my appointment time the attendant was there for maybe 15 minutes. She absolutely wanted nothing to do with me. Honestly, for a "special day" it was absolutely not special and ruined my experience. I'll pay more somewhere else or figure it out online... that was terrible. Would not recommend...
A big thank you too Nancy Camasta for turning a horrible experience into a great one here at davids bridal , she went above and beyond my expectations before I even told her I had a horrible experience with the lady I delt with before her a few weeks prior. I was late for my appointment due to bad traffic and she took me on no problem ! I waited tops 10 minutes for this amazing woman to come size one of my bridesmaids. Worst experience ever.. If you seem to be unsure of your dress they start to give you the most uncomfortable additude and if you excide more time into another appointment they will constantly remind you how many they have to deal with along with you since "their still helping" mind you I had no help putting on my dress or removing it not only that I had to wait 5 min for some one to assist me with clipping my undergarment worst experience ever.. This place was awful! They are under staffed; the lady that helped the bride, myself and another bridesmaid truly acted liked she had better things to do than to help with us spending hundreds of dollars in the store. She made the comment about wanting to be a model.... maybe she should have tried to make that work because her customer service was awful. I have been to Davids bridal in grand rapids a few different times and always enjoyed it. Even got my own wedding dress there. A couple of weekends ago my soon to be sister in law and a few of us had an appointment there for her to try on wedding dresses. We arrived early, every dress my sister in law showed our consultant she said "no, no, no, no,no" and crossed them off very rudely. Bride canceled the wedding and even though it has not even been the proposed wedding date (April 9 2016 ) we were unable to even exchange the dresses. Supposedly there is a 90 day exchange policy. Bridesmaids were pressured to order early - ( they came in 2 weeks) and had to pick up dresses in December. Also when the dresses came in we were harassed and advised we had to pick up within 10 days or they would be returned even though you must prepay to order. It's a rigged system! Beware !
