Not just is this place a joke to purchase from, it is a joke to work for. The manager can hire someone for a position, have them come in to do their paperwork and give them a schedule... 24 hours later, a different person calls to say they are on a hiring freeze and the person hired doesn't have a job. Way to go morons. Good to know they have no idea how to run a business.
I ordered my wedding dress and was told if I got it shipped to my mom's house it would come in a box, had to be signed for, and would receive an email when it was shipped. Well when I opened my front door this morning, my wedding dress was laying laying on my front porch. Two of my four bridesmaids have had an awful experience with David's, the worst being this location. After losing her measurements, ordering the wrong size, not being able to get a replacement, and messing up the alterations, I couldn't take anymore. My bridesmaid called me upset today and my fiance and I had to come in and speak with the manager about the ruined dress. They ended up fully refunding her dress. I do not think I would recommend David's bridal to any soon to be brides. I think since they're one of the only ones around, they can treat people poorly. Even the managers, never smile. Today, I stood at the front poddium for 5-10 minutes, before being greeted. Just walked past. Before this, my dress had issues, I was told they were too busy to handle it that day. A woman dreams about how her wedding planning will go. Never in a million years does she think she'll encounter rude people who should be there to help in the process. Well that's exactly what we encounter almost every time we go to Davids Bridal! This Davids is the absolute worst. My experience there was terrible. I had an appointment and when I got there I had to wait over 45 minutes. Once I actually met with a consultant she was helping 4 other people pick out prom dresses or something. She never really even asked me any questions about what kind of wedding dress I was looking for, just told me to go grab some I liked. She paid absolutely no attention to me. My daughter and I went to the Dayton mall store today for a wedding dress. We had an appointment for noon, but obviously so did 200 other people!!! The store was so crowded there was not room to stand!!! I understand buying a wedding dress is a special occasion,but there is no reason to bring your whole family and every cryng hungry baby you can find!! Very small, over booked appointments for saturday. No where to sit so families could view their loved one trying on their dresses. however, our assistant was very nice.
