We arrived for our appointment promptly, however our stylist was 20 minutes late. She had no interest in hearing about the wedding or what type of dress I needed. We told her no veil and a lightweight dress without a long train as it was an outdoor elopement. I also specified that I wanted to see a corset back style, however she would not listen nor show me what I had envisioned. Good luck trying to deal with the alternation ladies. Thought going there would be pain abs hassle free since I got my dress there. But total opposite. Would not recommend to anyone. Not helpful and very rude. Ended up going else where.

Had a phone call the night before my alteration appointment and was told they could no longer accommodate my alteration appointment. I had received my bridesmaid dress early and moved the alteration appointment up and was told to go somewhere else. Wedding is in August on the other side of Canada, now I have to find somewhere else to do alterations after bridal party spent thousands of dollars on items here. Alteration appointment was made May 10 for July 10 then moved up to June 28, then cancelled less then 24 hours.

Horrible experience . Had my bridesmaids order dresses at three separate occasions . Asked them to put all dresses under My name so we could Keep track of them all… unfortunately they did not. They spelt names wrong and at one point couldn’t find the dresses we ordered . When they came in they called Ans informed them that they had 7 days to pick up the dresses they paid in full for or they would be put out on the rack… unacceptable if they are paid in full.. don’t recommend at all . Terrible experience

I had a horrible experience with David’s Bridal on Friday. Dishonest to get the sale. With only a month to my big day I told my stylist to only give me options that were my size off the rack. She told me not too worry, plenty of time for alterations. That they could even do it in a week if they had to. She pulled almost nothing in my size. I found THE dress, then the story immediately changes and they are booked solid for alterations for the next two months and I am told I would have to take it elsewhere. HORRIBLE!! I WALKED OUT OF APPT AFTER 7 MINS!!! If I could give a zero rating I would!!! This was the worst experience I have ever had. I had to make an appointment, got there and they had no idea why I was there. They gave my friends horrible looks the whole time. They never asked me a budget. They asked me what I want in a dress then made ME pick out my own dresses. Didn’t help me out them on. Just said it doesn’t fit. There was no room for my party to sit and see the horrible dresses. Horrific service at David’s Bridal South Edmonton Commons location. When I tried on my dress the sales lady assured me I could alter the back of the dress no problem and that she’d teach me how to tape my chest so I wouldn’t need a bra. Wearing a bra is not possible with this dress. I questioned her but she was so reassuring no problem at all. Our recent visit to David’s Bridal (South Common) on April 9, 2022 for sizing for alterations for the Bride and two Bridesmaids was the most horrific fiasco we have ever encountered. M(Bride) purchased the dress she fell in love with back in January and was assured by the staff any alterations could absolutely be done without changing the look of the dress.
