Even though the store had my dress section my dresses were not pulled before hand and was told some of them were not in the store but somehow were found later in the appointment. My stylist had two brides to serve at the same time which did not work well for me at all. The stylist was so focused on the other bride she gave me only the very minimum of service. Our appointment was a disaster from the get go. The consultant didn't introduce herself, didn't ask about budget. 1 consultant for 2 brides! Not personal service, Consultant had no idea what she was doing she measured the bride wrong , didn't know the stock in the store! She just handed the gowns to the bride for her to open and take it off the hanger, no assistance to put on the gowns. She even gave gowns she brought for our bride to the other bride! we had no help at all she got our dressers we picked out and that was it all where way to big had no pins to hold them together no one there to assist the bride to be if you want a very low price dressers yes not bad looking dresses but do not expect help on trying them on

I would not reccomend davids bridal. While their prices are decent I have never experienced such a poorly run business. First the lady that did my first fitting measured me wrong, kept bringing me items I said I wasn’t interested in and overall made me uncomfortable. The second time i was in the store I asked for a different sales person, she was great; however, THEY ORDERED THE WRONG DRESS! When I had my fitting my consultant double booked and made me feel like she had no time for me or my bridesmaids. On top of that she was rude and made it very obvious she was only interested in the commission and went to the groups where she thought she would earn the most money and completely ignored us.. the ones with the appointment. Terrible customer service. I really wanted to love it in spite of being warned away by so many others and reading awful horror stories about this location. I actually went back 3 times. The third trip wasn’t as bad but all three appointments were a nightmare. Initially I was told they didn’t have any lace dresses (I found a bunch on my own) then was told that a bridal size 16 is “really hard to find” (big fat lie and the comment was made while eyeing me rudely head to toe). Awful experience from the start. Avoid the place. The only good thing about DB is the prices are decent for bridesmaid dresses. We arrived to our appointment and it was a zoo inside. Packed with people. We were told to wander and start picking dresses and our consultant Hannah would be with us shortly. I went bridal shopping here last Saturday and it was an absolutely terrible experience. The lady that was supposed to be helping us out was no help at all. Once she showed us where to look she took off not asking me anything about what I was looking for. We had a very hard time trying to find the type of dress I was looking for and instantly felt overwhelmed. She was MIA almost the whole appointment and my mother in law had to do almost all of my dress up and hold them in the back so i could get a bit of a feel for them. One... read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !! I am a bride getting married in October and my bridesmaids are in the process of ordering dresses through David's bridal. My sister found a dress but only a store in Canada (Edmonton) had her size. So we TRIPLE checked both with the store in Canada and again with the store in Novi that if needed we could exchange it for a different dress in the US.
