My friends and I walked in today to try on bridesmaid dresses. Since we did not have an appointment, we were told that only one of us (we were a party of 5) could dry on dresses in one fitting room. When asked why, we were told that there were 2 bridal parties on their way for a 6PM appointment (it was currently 5:28PM). Our bride was also approached by the store manager & asked why were we looking for dresses when the wedding was so far in advance (September 2019, today is December 28, 2018). The dress selection for bridesmaids is pretty extensive which is great. We arrived 10 minutes early for our appointment, and were told our stylist would be with us shortly. We started looking at the dresses, but were encouraged to wait for our stylist. We weren’t greeted until almost 30 minutes after our appointment was scheduled to start. She then told us to pick our top 3, and then started our dressing rooms. Absolutely horrible customer service at the Orland Park location! They ordered me the wrong bridesmaid dress!! Even through I had the right one on, gave the girl the dress to get the information and the color, they still ORDERED THE WRONG DRESS (they did get the color right though🤔). I ordered it to come straight to my house so I didn’t have to go back in there, of course now I had to. I get there, the only apology I got for my hassle was from the girl at the front door, NOT the TWO managers at the counter!!! Now, I ha... read more

I went to Davids Bridal today because of the House of Brides shit show im currently in. I was so upset and stressed over a wedding dress (that should be the least of my worries) I walked into Davids bridal this morning and already felt instantly as ease.. Neva made sure I was in good hands, SUPER personable and even though she was running around the store with another bridal party she made sure she still gave me the attention i needed! So I had an appointment at 5 pm for my bridesmaid fittings and we were running late due to traffic so I gave them a courtesy call to make sure it would still be ok to come and whoever I spoke with (unfortunately I didn’t get a name) told me it was fine and to just come at 5:30. Worst customer service ever. We had an appointment and our consultant barely greeted us and left us waiting for her to return. The bride then put back on her clothes and had to go find dresses herself. They overbook their appointments and offer horrible customer service. Once we found a dress the bride liked, we asked the consultant to check to make sure it would be in before the wedding. She disappeared and never returned. I was at David's on Saturday searching for bridesmaids dresses (I am the Bride). I had 5 bridesmaids there to get their dresses (all choosing their own style in the color of my choice). When our consultant was available she was wonderful. Very accommodating for all of my guests and pulled all of the dresses they wished to try on. This was wonderful. I came to the store on a Monday looking for a dress and person who had wasn't very attentive, she kept disappearing have look her when I needed help. So initially, I was very disappointed with this location. But came back to pick up her dress and get alterations done....I had the pleasure of having Lisa help me and daughter.
