ALWAYS ASK FOR YOUR OLD PARTS BACK I WENT THERE WITH BAD SCREECHING COMING FROM MY BRAKE AREA, IT FELT UNSAFE TO DRIVE. THE WRITER SAID THEY WERE TO BUSY TO TAKE IT. SHE WENT TO ASK A TECH AND HE SAID IT'S OK TO DRIVE AND COME BACK ANOTHER TIME. HOW DID HE KNOW IT WAS SAFE TO DRIVE,, HE DID NOT COME OUT TO LOOK AT THE CAR. When in need of help because car had flat they offer no Help We had a flat tire at 8 am today. It is now 3:25 pm. We still have a flat tire. Delray Acura is very unresponsive and awful in an emergency. I have 3 Mercedes plus this MD.x I would never buy another from this dealer again there is no spare tire. Then there should be roadside service. I was stuck In. A very populated area imagine if I was on a dark road! i waited three hours for roadside assistance to come. Terrible! THIS IS WORTH READING! Buying a car can be a tedious, lengthy and frustrating process. When I went to Delray Acura in Delray Beach, Florida, to trade in my lease I thought I had found the gem of car dealerships, but BOY WAS I WRONG! Just WOW ! As I was hitting the brake on my Subaru Forester one thought to myself "this day is not going to go as planned". I knew that getting cut off while going 50 through an intersection with no time to even slow down was not going to make for a pleasant day to say the least. Broke my alternator - Failed to replace it Brought my car in to have the air bags replaced in Sept. When I went to pick up my car, the dealer had driven it 45 miles somewhere (no explanation) and my alternator was broken. They refused to take accountability for breaking it and they refused to replace it (it would have cost me $750.00 at their service dept!) Tom, While we appreciate your feedback, we would like to address your comments. The dealership did receive the new airbags from the manufacturer and replaced it by their standards. Your engine, including your alternator was not touched. Unfortunately, you replaced your alternator by a non-Acura dealership and it was not an Acura OEM part. If it was an official alternator, it would have been covered under a manufacturer warranty. Car is a DEATH MACHINE Buyer Beware! You will have no recourse or help from this dealership! My mom who is a senior citizen leased a 2016 Acura TLX here on June 17 2016 and two months later, on August 19th, was slowly pulling into a parking spot when her car surged forward into a concrete divider and a bunch of shoulder height bushes. BEWARE OF DELRAY ACURA Nice sales people many of whom are retires, BEWARE OF THE SALES MANAGERS, They are old old school shark car sales man. They suck in to the showroom for 5 hours and beat you down until you take their bad deal. I paid $580 too much on the downpayment and $15 a month more than I would have at Rick Case or Pembrooke pines Acura. Sales team including manager will not return phone calls after the deal. This is how you do business? I have been going to this dealership to have my car serviced for many years now. Today was my last visit to them. I have been trying for over a month to get an appointment for an oil change....yes over a month. It was one excuse after another. New receptionist, new service techs, new computers systems. Okay for sale. Awful after sale. Although I live across the street from Delray Acura, I purchased my first two Acuras from Palm Beach Acura because the sales department at Delray Acura was absolutely horrific 10 years ago. In 2011 I gave them another chance thinking they may have changed. At that time the sales department seemed to have gotten their act together and I purchased an RDX from them.
