My husband ordered a transmission for his GMC Acadia. We paid almost $2000 for this item. After waiting three weeks for it to arrive, we were told that is it defective. We have been trying to get in contact with Detroit Axle to see about returning the defective transmission and no one will return our calls. Strut failed after two months. They did warranty the part but charged a $40 deposit + shipping that they did not refund when receiving the bad part. Even after I called them, they still did not issue the refund. Sent a complaint to better business bureau and they did not respond to them either. Second strut failed a month later and I just purchased from advanced auto. Attaching picture, you can see that spring pushing past the bracket that is supposed to be holding it. Bought Whole Suspension Kit With Upper Lower Ball Joints, Tie Rods Etc For 2000 Honda Accord It Was Decent Quality Was Better Off With The Original Struts They Were Trash Other Then That Ball Joints An All Were Good. You Get What You Pay For ! Beware China Aftermarket Parts Trying Upper Lower Ball Joints An Tie Rods On My 98 Civic Ex Hope Everything Is Good Like Last Time 👍 Will Give An Update On Those After I Order My Adjustable Struts NOT From Here ! 😂

There is no option for zero stars or that is what I would give. December 7th we ordered a part and it was shipped out. December 9th we received it and it was not the part we ordered. We called customer service that day and was told the wait to talk to a representative was nearly 2 hours but if we left our information and order number someone from their call center would call us back. Shitty parts shitty customer service not happy parts fail no help thousands of dollars in damages
STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS... Ordered part according to the web site information, part received was the wrong part due to incorrect information on their site.. Contacted customer service, returned as requested and when I called to get refund, they charged me a $30 restocking fee for them sending me the wrong product. True rip off.
