My review would be 0 stars if possible. Customer Service is horrible. My worst experience with customer service in my 46 years of life. Oh, and the Rack & Pinion I bought started leaking in 3 months. Plus they shipped me the wrong part under warranty and now expect me to pay for the shipping even though they screwed up. Don't buy from Detroit Axle!

Worst experience with parts order in a while. Ordered in stock parts and a week later still haven't shipped, but have been contacted twice to provide feedback?? Sent email asking for help, no answer. Contacted customer service by phone, felt like it had to be joke. Seriously, after third time of them asking me for my name, phone number, and reason for calling, got nothing but a "someone from shipping will contact you, goodbye." Terrible customer service. I bought a set of rotor/pads and realized the were the wrong item. Did attempt to install or anything. Put them back in the box and sent them back. They wont refund claiming parts not the same as when shipped to me. HUH???. Also, have been trying to put in warranty claim for rear wheel bearing for two months now. Everytime I call they tell me I have to wait for a call back from texas. On third attempt now, never a call back HUH?? WIll be posting this excerpt on several forums.

Sent 2 bad transmissions, third one seems fine, and over 2 months later still have not received a check for warranty claim after I was told it would be 3 to 5 days. Cant get to talk to anyone, all I get is voicemails.

I ordered a gearbox 2 years ago with a life time warranty, it went out. I called them with the order # they said they can't find it.He asked for an email still could not find it. I told him they emailed me the receipt for it, still could not find it. Will never order from them again.

POOR SERVICE!!!!!!!!! LEFT OUT PARTS FROM OUR ORDER, try to contact them, nobody knows where the parts are, given a phone number to call and voicemail box is full, no response online, can't even get through on the phone. This is the worst company to get parts from!!!!!!!!!!!!

1232285 3 Bad Rack And Pinions? The first one broke within 10 months, the second 2 the electronic Magnasteer didn't work, and I received error lights every time I turned a corner. After 3 racks, 3 alignments ($70. Each time), and weekends waisted installing your products. I gave up and purchased one from AutoZone. All the error lights and issues went away.
