The customer service is disgraceful. I had to get a warranty part's replaced and paid for shipping on 8/8/2025 and as 8/12/2025 and a shipping number the way maid on the 8/10/2025 the items is still at the Detroit axle not picked up as yet. The workers there said that there is no supervisor available to take a complaint. These workers do what ever they like and none to complain to.
Terrible Experience — Avoid This Company What a mistake this purchase was. I ordered a suspension kit for my older CR-V that included lower control arms, ball joints, sway bar links, and tie rod ends. When the kit arrived, I began by removing the spindle on one side to change the lower control arm. The control arm seemed to fit fine — at first. Next, I pressed in the included ball joint. What was immediately concerning was that the rubber boot extended about 1/8" past the press area. As I pressed it in, the boot got sucked ... read more
I bought front rotors and pads for my 2003 Ford F-150 last year, 11 months later I was metal to metal. I sent an email and it's been over 2 weeks and I have gotten NO reply. Since I need my truck I had to replace my brakes by going to Auto Zone ( they honor their warranties). I'm happy to spend the extra money at a parts store that is trustworthy.
Detroit Axle is a FRAUDULENT company! My husband and I were sent the wrong brakes and rotors. A female representative told us that these brake and rotors would fit our E350 Benz based on looking up our tag number and VIN. We received the wrong parts. Our mechanic was able to look at the parts and tell us that they would not fit our vehicle. We returned the brakes and rotors via FedEx in the brand-new condition we received them. We were expecting our FULL refund! Detroit Axle only refunded us a portion of our money stating th... read more

If it was possible to give 0 stars I would. I ordered a complete $800 16 piece suspension rebuild kit for my truck and took them to my mechanic on an Army post for the install. Mechanic calls and tells me there's no upper control arms in the package like there was supposed to be so he had to order some from Napa to complete the build. I called DETROIT Axle customer service to get this figured out and someone in India answered the phone and lied to me saying he talked to the warehouse and they have a picture of the order goi... read more
I should have trusted the BBB rating of F. A "warrantied" part failed. A warranty that includes neither a refund nor a replacement part isn't really of any value. I spent hours on the phone and was without my car for two weeks while being being lied to.
After filling my cart for my first purchase of rotors, discs, and hubs; the cart did an about face calculating my WELCOME10. It increased the sale amount to original price and then reduced that total 10%. When I called the 8885830255, the salesperson admitted the discount was reduced to 5%. He refused an acceptable solution to the matter. This is dishonesty. He even mentioned beautiful God after admitting these deceitful acts. I must praise God in all of his majesty that I did not conduct any business with this group. I kno... read more
