I brought my little pound puppy here in heart failure 10 years ago and he received impeccable care. Brought my little terrier here after he swallowed something too big for him and once again stellar care. This review is for the dermatologist. Brought my buddy in for a skin evaluation. She didn't care to look at his recent super chem Blood panel and said he needs biopsies. No scraping i asked? No she said. I am giving one star because the vet and all staff were friendly and kind. However, the prices were atrocious. I paid $650 for one x-ray and exam. After the x-ray I was told that the surgery needed would be between $5-7k "with no complications." I took my cat home and brought him to my vet as soon as they opened. My very reputable vet did the same surgery, with additional x-rays, and three days of hospitalization for $986. I understand that emergency vets are more expensive and they must have a lot of overhead, however to... read more

I brought my dog here for an EMERGENCY at 6:30 in the morning. I even called ahead of time and they knew I was coming. I walked in and they had me in the waiting room for a good 20 to 25 minutes before finally putting me in a room. Once we got into the room the nurse instead of assessing my dog immediately started asking me questions like how old is my dog, what does he eat regularly how much does he weigh etc. I was there for an EMERGENCY. My cat died 3 hours later we were told she would be okay until morning to go to the primary vet. Money hungry disgusting facility. All they care about is money. If you want to go be prepared to not see your animal until they apparently clean them up and take care of them. That's bullshit. This place is horrible and should be ashamed of themselves for the way they treat people and pets. Disgusting.

This place is awful. They are just interested in money. Charged $1200 for tests on my dog. They told me that surgery would cost $5000-$8000 with only a 50/50 chance of survival. I decided to take my dog home. The told me she'd be dead by the morning. Took her to another vet. The surgery was $1600 and she survived the surgery and is doing well. They take advantage of people at a very vulnerable time. Never again. They should be investigated. A lot of unnecessary tests. Should be ashamed

These people don't give a rats ass about anything but money. Not an ounce of compassion. I am shocked by any good reviews. Go the extra mile or so to Hampton Veterinarian Hospital. Do yrself a favor.

this place is horrible.take my advise dont go here.i went in with my dog very sick.a bitter young woman right away pulls out a form and asks me to immedietly pay 500 dollars just for them to look at a him.and said thats just the beginning,it could be 1100 in the blink of an eye...they actually said this..i asked how come they are saying this without even looking at my dog.she responded very rude,.after 15 mins of arguing with them i had to pay 450 so they took my dog back for tests....long story short we sat in waiting room ... read more

I called to have my dog medically boarded, was rushed off the phone given no information except that it was $100 per night. I called back to get more information such as can I bring his own food, how hands on his care would be and any additional info, was told again it was $100 per night. Then I go to drop him off before my trip and was told for the FIRST time that I had to pay $82 for the vet to examine him. Don't bring your pet to this clinic. They are extremely expensive and dishonest. They deliberately exaggerate your pets condition to charge you more money.
