The "doctor" barely even touched my dog. She didnt even get up off the stool except to leave. They told me the only course of action would be to take a biopsy, which wouldve cost over $1000. After choosing not to do a biospy and asking what we should be doing at home, I was told to just bathe my dog. Was charged $230 for a consultation where they did absolutely NOTHING!!! If I can give -10stars I would -- NEVER EVER BRING YOU PETS HERE IF YOU VALIE THEIR LIVES. IF ONY THEY WERE QUICK ENOUGH TO TREAT MY DOG AS THEY WERE TO TAKE MY MONEY. In speaking with other people.. I was told this is not a good place for an emergency - now I know why. Monday he was running and playing and eating and Wed he was dead. I rushed my dog to this animal hospital on Wed at approx 2:30pm and he ws dead by 9:30pm. My dog was bleeding internally and had aspirated pneumonia. They charged $6800 right off the ba... read more

I'm sorry to write this - as someone wrote here everything is related to money - the dog was less than three days - everything cost me over $ 5000 !!!!!! at the end I heard to put him to sleep:(((-however, I disagreed-the dog was unconscious on medication-they said he didn't drink water or eat-at home like crazy he started eating and drinking-today I'm happy because he is with us and wakes us up every day!

Don't go. I took my 7 year old cat to this place 3 times since end of November. I spend a total of $1200. They kept telling me it was a respiratory infection. After 3 different antibiotics, 2 viral medications and 2 different steroids my baby was still not better. I decided to get another opinion some where else. Took my cat here last night for treatment. Dr. Griswold treated her for elevated kidney values and an infection and assured us there was only a "slim chance" of our cat passing away from this event. 16 hours later, my kitty has passed away. I called the office to advise them the cat had passed away and I wanted to speak to Dr.Griswold. The intent was to get a better understanding of what went wrong. Beware. These are not nice people. It's all about money and they don't care for your sick and dying pet. $1600 I didn't have as a check was clearing. It was pretty much "take you sick cat (we put her to sleep on 09.22.22) and leave. In my hear tI knew she was not going to make it but some compassion and assistance would have been nice. My vet was in shock when I told her how we were treated. Go elsewhere.

Took my 5 month old here because his vet office was closed. Sat there for 6 hours which is sort of understandable because it is an emergency type facility. My pup had a belly ache, and was recommended for an X-ray which I agreed to. After perfect vitals and speaking to the doctor, we walked out so he can be taken into X-ray by the veterinary technician. I have been a loyal customer for over ten years and knew the staff well including my all time favorite...Dr. Robin Jagger. Recently the practice was sold to others then the original Two doctors who developed it. I am dealing with an entirely new group of people and doctors.... DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. THERE ARE OTHER 24 HOUR EMERGENCY VETS ON LONG ISLAND. I'm currently involved in a lawsuit with them because of their negligence. I brought my dog in because he had a metal spike in his paw. I told 2 people what it was and where on his paw it was. I told an intake vet tech, and the vet that he had a metal spike in his toe in a specific spot. They told me they removed everything from his paw. They did not. They didn't remove the metal spike.
