My dog was having an allergic reaction with labored breathing and hives and we were turned away despite being in their parking lot because they didn't have anyone on call to assist us. They told us to go to the 7-11 and get Benadryl. Horrible horrible horrible.

This place is an absolute disaster and the worst place I have ever visited!!! I brought my dog here due to possible ingestion of rodent poison. Upon arrival they forced my dog to vomit in order to see if there was any ingestion of it and did not find anything. As a precaution they put him on Vitamin K for 28 days. After the 28 days we brought him back 72 hours for a clotting time which came back slightly elevated. The doctor then put him on Vitamin K again for 7 days (just to be safe) and we went back 72 hours after the last... read more

Took my cat here because she was sluggish, not eating, and vomiting. We figured she might have ate something she shouldn't have. Instead of doing bloodwork, or any form of examination related to that, they decided to keep us waiting over an hour only to give the cat oxygen and pressed us to get chest x-rays and anxiety medications, despite there being no breathing related issues. They did absolutely nothing to address the reason why we brought our cat in. All they cared about was tacking on as many frivolous treatments as the... read more

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Brought our dog in to be checked out for uncontrollable vomiting and diarrhea and we received no answer as to why it was happening. The vet failed to give a diagnosis but instead listed all the probable causes as if it was a google listing. Her failed attempts lead to it would require more in depth testing that she would not be doing. Instead we received more phone calls requesting payments for the vet to even think about looking at our dog than how she would be helping resolve t... read more

I went to see doctor Phil Litwack around 11 PM last week after my new puppy was suddenly immobile and almost paralyzed it seemed. I was terrified and literally thought my puppy was on the verge of passing away. Dr. Litwack was the only vet there at the time and my experience with him was traumatizing. He gave me absolutely no explanation of what could be wrong with my dog, and had the worst bedside manner I've ever experienced at a medical office. He made me feel more anxious, more scared and more uncomfortable than I was go... read more

I brought my young cat there last nite for what appears to be an abscess. The first doctor said "it's really weird" I've ever seen this before". She told me his penis was pushed over and it was. I suggested the abscess was so large that perhaps that was causing it. She agreed! then said she was due to leave and handed me over to the nite vet. this is all over 2 and a half hours. He then made no attempt to clean out the abscess, doing blood tests, x-rays for dogs, anything but cleaning out an abscess that could cause an i... read more

THE worst place I have ever visited in my entire life. Fur baby owners beware. This place is lacking in any sort of professionalism. Apparently you cannot even be with your animal when their so called "vet" examines your pet. This is atrocious! My husband and I live in Northport and we travel out east on many weekends with our puppy as he enjoys exploring new places. We happened to be out east this Saturday and he ended up with something in his ear. We brought him to this horrible place. They gave him an antihistamine an... read more

Very disappointed with the care received. We brought a wild bird in with an injury to its leg. The bird was a baby and did not have any of its flight feathers yet. The Wild Life rescue group was waiting for the call from the hospital to pick up the bird. A generous donation was given to the rescue group for agreeing to care for the animal. Later when we called the Rescue center we were informed that the hospital never even called them. We called this horrific hospital to be told that they evaluated the bird and althoug... read more

They will hold the life of your pet, make you feel that you have no choices, have you sign contracts under the duress of your pet dying. And then they will ravage you financially. Every conversation about your pet will be prefaced with how much it will cost and the threat of "administration" getting involved. Every decision is expected immediately, you will sign away thousands and thousands of dollars. A routine emergency situation that would cost $2k-$4k ANYwhere else in the US ended up costing me OVER $13,000 before I fina... read more
