Get directionsMy new puppy was suffering from a bad case of kennel cough. So I brought him to East End at around 8 P.m. I was seen by a vet for about one minute and the vet left. A nurse then came in and told me that my dog was going to die if I didn't immediately leave a $3600 deposit and let him stay at the hospital. I immediately told them that I would admit him and pay the extremely high $3600 deposit. They then came back and told me that they had no day staff And I would have to drive back in the morning and pick my dog up at 6 AM in... read more
If there was an option to give 0 stars I would give 0 stars. Don't bring your animal here. Nasty staff, managers are also unless in working with you. In a nutshell, the front desk & managers are highly unprofessional & completely in sensitive. And yes, they work with animals so go figure. Our dog was hospitalized there for days & we winded up having to euthanize her after days in their care and over $4,000 later. Needless to say we were heartbroken & the staff were just the worst. Here are a few examples: A staff membe... read more
Absolutely the rudest, nastiest bunch of people since Margaret McLoughlin and Compassion First took over from Dr. Vatash, who was an absolute pleasure to work with for 15 years. The vet who saw my cat, who was brought in for a serious limp, diagnosed him as having "a limp" without even x-raying him. Totally incompetent. The cat had osteosarcoma and suffered needlessly for two weeks until he had to be put down as a result of their sloppy, lazy exam. Moreover, they refuse to give me my medical records and hang up the phone ... read more
I am writing this review for all the good Samaritans to let them know NOT to bring a sick/or injured wildlife to this facility EVER!!! Best to bring them directly to the Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Center in Hampton Bays. Hotline (631)728-9453. I brought a bird in around 1:00 in the afternoon on July 13th 2021 and was told by the staff they would be calling the Evelyn Alexander wildlife center to pick the bird up. I told them I could bring it to them and they assured me they would take good care of the bird (a baby robin) I ... read more
This place used to be good years ago when different doctors and employees worked here. It's sad how hard it is to find a good ER in today's world. They only care about what you can afford to save your animal. Not to mention when you explain that you know what your dogs issues are and that you just need the medicine to stop the vomit and diarrhea because this is something that occurs frequently and all they want to do is keep your animal and say it's a block and tell you they have to do surgery. They will do anything to get m... read more
My beautiful 6 yr. Old male Pomeranian died on May 18th, 2021. Its how he died that was disturbing. Hachi while walking and 1 minute from our house, he fell over to his side. We rushed him 5 minutes away to the closest Westhampton beach animal clinic where Dr. Boutges wouldn't see him. Our baby was in obvious distress. We were told to take him 20 minutes away to the 24 hr. Emergency East End Veterinarian hospital at 67 Commerce Drive. He had already passed. Hachi was to be cremated. A few days passed and we got a call from... read more
Like inter-dimensional beings, they feed off the emphatic tendencies of most humans. Our beloved feline was brought in with a severe breathing problem, more than 24 hours later and $2911 US dollars later, of course not including the $59.50, for the Euthanasia fee... We did not really know what the root of the problem was. My wonderful creature's spirit has left this dimension, me and my family are heartbroken. But of course, if we materialized, another $1700 for a CAT scan, no pun intended, we may have found out what the act... read more
I am so sorry I didn't read this site before bringing our furry family member. Gail S. puts into summation the lack of credibility & lack of integrity succinctly. I was drawn into the vortex of unnecessary procedures & surgery, biopsies and the inflated merit of a hyper baric chamber to save our dog by one Dr. Collins. I have spoken with two other vets since this incident and I am now horrified. What happened was that I got fleeced for over $12,000 and our beloved pet in a cardboard box with his name written in magic marker ... read more
