My dog stewy had a bad tooth infection I spend alot of money and time trying to find a doctor that could remove his bad tooth unfortunately all near offices had told me that the waiting time for such procedure will be long due to COVID 19 we couldn't wait since he was getting worse. First of all The East Lake Clinic is now under new ownership. With the new owners there comes rules that the employee has to follow or lose their job. My animals have been happy with the treatment they have received from Samantha. I know she bends over backwards to help each animal as if it is her own. The past they had a individual owner to corporation so please give then a chance. No clinic will give medical advice on the phone if you think its an emergency then it is. Take your pet to the vet. Again new ownership

They are open 7 days a week from 8am-8pm. Convenient considering they are the 3rd clinic in Watsonville and the other 2 are closed on sundays and half days on Saturday. They take in emergency visits during business hours. They offer boarding and grooming services. They have doctors that see exotic pets, which is hard to find in Santa Cruz county. They book same day appointments. They have walk in vaccine services that do not require an exam with the doctor, they are actually known for that. All other clinics require it. The... read more

Pokey and I love East Lake animal clinic. Staff and doctors are great. We have been coming here for 8 years and always had excellent care and service. This facility also accepts care credit which is great since my dog has environmental allergies and gets flare ups Definitely recommend this facility

My Fergus cat is alive to enjoy the sunshine today because of the excellent care he received during two life-threatening emergencies. The staff is consistently great to deal with, the vets professional and good at explaining the situation to my understanding. I knew exactly what was needed and how much it would cost. Fergus is a follow-up care kind of guy now, but he is still an anxious, neurotic cat by nature. I call him my PTSD patient (seriously, severe trauma in his youth caused his chronic health condition). I called all over Hollister and no one would see my dog when she was dying. But I called them and they took her right away. Super sweet and kind staff they took great care of us in our time of suffering.

We recently visited ELAC for the first time. Our dog had hurt himself the night before and this was the only clinic in town opened after 6pm. Our dog was seen by Dr. Spencer. I was absolutely impressed by her way of explaining things to us and by gentle and caring personality. Our pets we will only be seen by her from now on.

Thank you Dr. Dave, Sammy and all staff. We had to bring our beloved 12 year old 'Blab' [Bloodhound/Lab] "Faith" to you after she collapsed at her (our) home in Aptos. After diagnosing a large mass on her kidney we lost our best family friend. However, your heartfelt care and sensitivity cannot go unnoticed. About 2 weeks later, her brother, Bullwinkle, passed away for roughly the same reason mostly..old age. These guys were 'the' dogs everyone hopes for and a special member of our family. Dr Simpson and the rest of the staff are kind and caring to our animals. I've brought our dogs in on an emergency basis several times and each time was fantastic.
