Ecola service technicians are always punctual and experts in termite and pest control
Would’ve appreciated possibly a Zoom call say a week before where owners could have the opportunity to ask questions to a live person that could be archived in case someone wasn't available or wanted to review later.
The service inspector did not point out or find evidence of existing termites in the areas he mentioned in his report during his inspection. I asked him directly and also accompanied him on the inspection. He inspected the same areas Ecola has been servicing for the last 10+ years. He did not spray or inject any chemicals in any of the areas because he did not see anything or even suggest to spray for added protection. After a thorough examination of our house, both inside and outside, for possible entry points that a visiting rat could use, the Ecola technician described what we needed to do to close off these places. He didn’t try to get this done by the Ecola company although saying they could do it, and he would not submit a bill.for the considerable time he spent with us, explaining that a free diagnosis and estimate is company policy. It was heartwarming to think that a successful company was being run this way!

Your Tech never showed up!
The exterminator came and injected the poison into the wall (in three different rooms) and where he did that several months ago, no termites have re-emerged. In one room, where we couldn't determine where the infestation was the first time he was out here, he recently came once again and did the same procedure as previously. Hopefully, the results will be equally satisfactory.
Inspector showed up for "complete inspection" without a ladder and made no effort or promise to inspect eaves on ground floor and second story. There are, in fact, termites in the ground floor rafter tails which are visible from the ground. I called for a more complete inspection which was canceled the day it was to be held because the inspector didn't have a ladder! New inspection is scheduled for next month. Why wasn't a full inspection done the first time? Isn't that what I am paying for? What are your policies?
