I scheduled an appointment with Elite for service in ******, ** They texted me confirming my appointment several days before the appointment time with my address in the text. The day the appointment they texted again confirming the appointment. No one ever showed up so I called and was told ****** was out of their service area . The woman said she had called and talked to me which was a lie! No call at all. They would however make an exception if I agreed to pay ****** instead of ***** . Very disreputable company!

Elite Garage Doors forgot to schedule my appointment. I had to call and reschedule an appointment. After researching the cost of parts they replaced, main spring, cables, reinforcement bracket, the hourly labor cost came to over four times the cost form another firm to install a new door opener. After the tech left my door would not open. I called and he said I may need a new opener. He did not come back. He told me to call the manufacturer of the opener. Elite door was the worst service ive ever had. I was never given a receipt. I was told 2 to 4 weeks for my door. When i called to see of when my door would come in the manager got mad and went off on me. I had to call 8 times to find out when my door would come in. I kept calling out of work because theyre automated service kept messaging me about installation and thry never showed up. I called again and asked what was going on. We ordered a commercial roll-up garage door for one of our warehouses and were told that it would be available for installation in two weeks after ordering it. That was in October. We have had the initial framing for the new door completed since that time and have had the framers on standby to complete the opening since then. The framers keep requesting a date when they can complete the project and I have contacted Elite several times (5) asking for an update on the door. They sent a service guy to adjust a door they had installed that year. It took 20 minutes to fix. He smoked in my driveway without asking. He borrowed my level and a clamp. Then proceeded to charge an astronomical amount for a service that really should have been warranty covered. I complained and they took only $50 off. Given they charged roughly $500 for the repair (Think about that hourly rate...ridiculous!), that $50 was insultingly low. Elite ***** Door Is a horrible company .Over the phone they quoted me one price And when they showed up to do the work the quote was different. My garage door suddenly stopped completely closing. Since I previously had elite install the opener, I called them to troubleshoot. For $300.00 the technician spent about 20 minutes on the phone with another tech, talking him through the process of resetting the stop limitations. Come on! Really! $300.00 for this is excessive and exploitive. I wont use them again unless its an absolute emergency.

The sensor did not work from day one. They sent someone out to fix it and it still did not work. The manager had someone call me to say they could send someone out for a small fee. If it did not work, why would I have to pay to get it fixed or replaced with one that does work? It is supposed to be under warranty. VERY bad customer **********************. I would not recommend them at all.

Will not use again and will not recommend. I used this company under Premier Doors on multiple occasions with complete satisfaction. Great work and fair priced. Now under Elite, great technician and excessive pricing. Everyone expects price increases with the economy and fuel prices. Same exact door opener at ********** $235. Elite charged $1100 for the opener and $300 for installation. I had a door opener installed by Premier at a previous residence at under $400 installed complete. Now $1500.
