Precision Door came to replace garage door opener that had burned out. The reason it burned out was the garage door had jammed which I found out when I tried to manually lift it. They replaced the 28 year old door opener with a belt driven unit, including accessories far superior to the original unit. ****** and his supervisor ******* were professional and accomplished the work to my entire satisfaction. The technician has come now three times as this second remote I was wanting does not work to close the door. I should mention I needed a second on short notice or I would have bought one at hardware and programmed had I had the time. While they came promptly the tech ****** ******* first did not test it at all except standing in driveway. His second visit after it working was for me to stand in front of door out of car and while it was still problematic it did work once so within five minutes he was gone. Paid required deposit over a month ago (close to 3k) still no confirmation of expected delivery or install. Called 4X in last 24 hours with no call back. Door is standard size - A1 Garage has in stock. Too bad we did not call them. Feeling ripped off.

Appointment was set quick. Had the service man previously at that time he complained that his company was using companies like First American that they would make no money. And when he left after servicing the door, he goes well. They only made $40 on this one. The door wouldn’t open and shut so I had to make another appointment. The company responded quickly. I got the same service man come out and start complaining and then he said well let’s just not talk. He fix the problem and left. If my garage door has another problem... read more

We dont even want to give them a full star. We were extremely disappointed in the treatment we received by the service man ****** *******. He was rude and condescending and just kept saying our garage door opener wasnt under warranty and I had all the paperwork to prove that it was. (For another 5 years more on the motor and 10 more on the belt) When I tried to explain, he wouldnt listen. He just kept saying, Im not here to argue with you. Elite responded quickly to my call for help and ***** arrived in a timely fashion. He gave me a verbal quote that afternoon and I received a written quote a few days later although I had explained to them it was an emergency situation as the gate had to be opened manually which was unmanageable. the arriving bid was several thousand dollars more than had been quoted verbally and their membership service was outrageously expensive. Very disappointing experience. 4 years ago they came out and said we needed new springs. Last week garage door was making unusual snapping noise when opening. Less than one minute after arriving service person said it was the springs and existing springs were incorrect for our door. Problem is it was Elite who installed the springs. You people are scammers, high pressure sales with no regard for or to the customer. I asked for panel replacement but you people insisted I needed a NEW door turns out I DIDN'T. Do not due business people , they will rip you off!

We had to pay $295 to have our garage door opener reprogrammed. The new garage door and pad opener were installed on 10/31/2022. The pad had a 1 year warranty. It was a task that took less than 2 minutes to complete. $295 is the price for Lubrication, adjustment and service of a garage door - even if it is a minor less than 2 minute fix.
