As a Veterinary Technician and a customer of Embrace, I absolutely do not recommend this company. They have ridiculous policy’s and a fine print excuse for covering just about every possible disease or illness. Don’t waste your money here, there are many better options.

This is by far the biggest joke as far as n customer service. I canceled my policy with them because it was an over priced joke. I was refunded money . Then months later was sent to collections. Saying I owed a balance. I never received a bill. I called and complained and they said they could not do anything to help me. I then insisted they take this off my credit due to y job. This company is a scam. They will happily take your money every month, but when it comes to paying even a minor $200 claim, they will require you to send in 1 year of vet history and when you do they go radio silent for a month. There is no communication other than the fact that they refuse to contact any vet for info, so you submit your docs and just wait for eternity. I paid over $600 in premiums for a year only for them to turn around and just play with my time and refuse to give me an answer to a claim for 45 days. Event... read more

As others have mentioned, they routinely deny care for eligible expenses. My policy explicitly states in Part III Coverage that Vet Treatment caused by Dental Illness is reimbursable up to $1000. They define Preventative Care as Care "without evidence of illness or injury" yet despite my Vet providing evidence of gingivitis (which they explicit state they cover) both times from two separate Veterinarians, who both billed the same way (an "Oral Treatment Protocol") they denied claims based on the fact that "dental cleanings" ... read more

Probably the worst company on the planet!! A total waste of my time & money!! I wont waste anymore of my time on them to explain everything they have put me through.other than I have 2 puppies & they keep saying that on each claim it was pre-existing! Not sure how they can get away with that! They didn’t even have their birthdates correct. They even put dates down before they were born. That’s all!

Horrible, heartless, fraudulent, greedy, and outright dishonest. Complete waste of money. They sent over 90 emails to us and our vets demanding more and more redundant and usually meaningless information regarding our claim. Their strategy is to bury you and your vet with nonsensical and time-consuming paperwork that keeps changing and growing at the same time. One vet even told Embrace to stop pestering her over and over again for the same information. They seem to have created a business model around large legal firms who ... read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! I paid the premiums every month without having to file any claims. Once I had to file a claim, forget it! They found a reason to deny it.

Have been paying their premium since February 2023 and still have not had a single claim be processed, even after getting them all the correct documentation. Give you the run around on having a first visit, but no specifics, and that's IF you can get a hold of someone (have spent literal hours on hold waiting for a rep). We took our cat in for a suspected urinary problem, turns out things were fine.
