Have been paying their premium since February 2023 and still have not had a single claim be processed, even after getting them all the correct documentation. Give you the run around on having a first visit, but no specifics, and that's IF you can get a hold of someone (have spent literal hours on hold waiting for a rep). We took our cat in for a suspected urinary problem, turns out things were fine. First, they hardly cover ANYTHING in their policies. So you’d be better off saving that policy fee every month in an emergency fund for your pet. Second, good luck getting anyone on the phone! Especially if you want to Cancel your policy. All they give you for cancellation is an email address and even then, there’s no guarantee they read the message. I requested cancellation and a week later policy still not canceled and they kept billing me! Horrible company. What a waste. Do not use.

If i could give them less than 1 star i would They continue to deny claims on our 7-year-old Golden Retriever, who we adopted in November 2019. One month after that while still deciding which Pet Insurance to go with, ( we made a big mistake in choosing Embrace) it was extremely windy in our area, and while he is in the house overnight, he must have been outdoors for a short period and got an ear infection. This company may be affordable but like the saying goes Cheaper isn't better. They have no problem taking your monthly basis but getting a claim processed is a nightmare. Seems they do everything to stale the process.

I submitted a claim for my dog. Gave this company all documents they required. It has been over three months now and no response or reimbursement for the care that was administered. This company is a fraud!

I have 3 dogs, 1 elderly with preexisting conditions that are not covered, I understand that. After a year of not making a single claim my premium gets raised by $150/mo ($1800/year) I will now pay $5400/y for pet insurance. My 2 other dogs will soon be elderly too which means (by this company's logic) I should pay upward of $8k/y. That's WITHOUT preexisting conditions being covered. How is this legal? They are essentially telling me to euthanize my pets or end up living on the streets. They keep bringing up "market price". ... read more

I am very surprised of how fraudulent this company is. When you think that working in an animal health care should have people with great compassion. They did the same to me. First time asking for a claim last week and they already did last year the medical history. But they are asking those again and delaying delaying for 12 months because apparently there is a precondition ? Patella luxation ? That even my vet never told me about ? They scam people. I think we should sue this company.

After signing up my two dogs I had to submit a claim as Bella had an object lodged in her ear which resulted in an ear infection. I got the runaround following: Denied, reopend, need all pages of bill (already submitted), need to contact vet, need medical history (submitted upon signing up plus initial check up vet visit), then it was deemed a pre-existing dermatology issue and therefore denied. Don't waste your money here. This was a small $60 claim, wonder what they do if you have a larger bill.

I think that they trick you so you can be trap . At the beginning I had my two dogs on the insurance and one of my dogs passed away I called to notify of what had happen . They told me that they will reenvose like 50 dollars and never receive the money. Since last year I stared a claim for my dog and until today I'm still waiting . They keep me waiting asking me for the history midical of my dog. I sent them the receipts on details of what the doctor did to my dog and the cost.
