Horrible company. Do not purchase. They are calling and ear infection on my dog a SKIN issue. It is deep within his ear and NOT a skin infection. PLUS it took them 4 weeks to disapprove this claim. They turn down EVERYTHING I file and call it a skin issue. Horrible company. Do not use!! I had to choose a star rating LOL they deserve zero

When you think Medical Insurance, Deductible, and Health Coverage, you imagine what your regular health insurance coverage is like. I pay approximately 400 monthly for my health insurance which has a low co pay and several other coverage's that make it affordable. Only when referencing this you think of any normal health condition with your pet, which is like a family member. Embrace finds any reason not to pay your claims. My poor dog had a rectal mass develop more than a month after the end of her waiting period and after 6 weeks of fighting with Embrace just to review her medical records they came back and denied the claim. Their explanation, she had experienced issues defecating nearly 6 months earlier – which by the way was related to a diet change the vet recommended. This company is a bunch of snakes that do not care about pets, do not care about helping people they only care about money. When I got the insurance 7years ago when my husky was 9years old they promised competitive rates, that were locked for life. After 3years the rates started to slightly increase. 2019 from $80-120. 2020 from $120-210. 2021 from $210 to $320. 2022 from $320 to $380 and now 2023 Increasing to $445 from the same coverage. I am an owner of a 9 year old service dog, as I am deaf. I took out a policy with Embrace when my dog was much younger and have had but a few reimbursements. Last year my policy went up several hundred dollars, but this year it went up over $500.00. Absolutely ridiculous! Especially since my zip code has nothing to do with costs as my vet treats not only mine, but the other service dogs of the gifting organization at a reduced price. What a joke. I have a puppy that is now 6 months old. After requesting a medical history review, (because I know insurance companies tend to deny any claim they can) Embrace comes back and says my dog has a pre-existing condition—FLEAS. Yes, he was a tiny puppy on his vet visit when I was asking the vet if he was even old enough to get flea medication—so he had fleas. SCAM company. I called to enroll my dog in early July because he had been hospitalized for diarrhea and it was very expensive. It ended up being gastroenteritis. I explained my reasoning for wanting to get insurance on the phone and asked if I would be covered against similar situations in the future, and they said yes. They told me about pre-existing conditions, and I understand that concept and knew off hand what his pre-existing conditions were. I enrolled paying $169/month.
