<p>They haven't been to install the latest 5 window "big deal" I boughtthis summer but I had them install windows last year and they were awesome. They were punctual, professional and the windows were installed with a great tight fit. </p> <p>The only downside was I asked if they could get Milgard to sell/fit 2-3 other window screens that were either missing or broken when earlier windows were installed by another contractor and that didn't happen. Wonderful company to work with. On time, professional and friendly. Paid great attention to detail when installing our new door, and thoroughly cleaned their work area when they were finished. I would highly recommend them. <br />
They came out once to do the measurements. They were professional about it. But when they came out to install, they didn't have the right windows installed in the right places for two windows. They had to come back one more time to complete it. That was poor communication. Other than that, it was worth the installment and they did everything else right. <br />

They were great. They were very prompt. Just two guys came out. It took them about an hour and a half. The price seemed average.
Emerald City Energy was prompt and professional. We are very happy with the windows. They were also very patient as we priced out different options. I think the only surprise was that the replacement windows had wider trim than we expected so we lost a little bit of glass area. <br />

Yes, we should always try to explain as best we can that going from aluminum frame windows to vinyl frame windows always results in a minor loss of glass area as vinyl frames are thicker than aluminum. The trade offs of energy efficiency, eliminating the interior condensation (and potential mold/mildew), and the overall appearance of the frames is usually worthwhile.
