The rooms are fine but I didn't like the atmosphere. I was sitting in the lobby waiting for my husband to come from the car. Some employee walked over to me and asked if she could help me. I never been to a hotel or resort where it seem because I'm of color as I shouldn't be here. She walked off and she and another gentleman were giggling after that. I will never come back
I’ve stayed at Holiday Inns that were nicer than this place. It smells old. Nothing looks updated since it was built. The only nice thing here was the lobby. Didn’t see any house keeping come to our room the 3 nights we stayed. On the last day we had so much trash it just started piling up in the kitchen. We thought putting the trash outside by our door would prompt someone so come get it but the next morning it was still there. 2 stars, do not recommend. I’ve stayed at nicer hotels on the island. My stay isn’t even over yet, and I can already say that I will NEVER stay here again. Got here on Sunday for a week stay, and on Monday our washing machine ruined the first load of clothes we washed. Six people traveled in one vehicle for a week long stay…needless to say we had packed light knowing that we would be able to do laundry. We were given no alternatives. We stayed here back in 2018 and loved it. We decided to stay here again this year for a week from 14-21 sept. When we get our room for the first night I was happy felt relaxing. The next day is when the nightmare of a vacation started. Starting around 8-830 in the morning was construction above us and finally after 3 hours of constant jack hammering. We loved this hotel when we stayed here in 2018. It was a perfect stay except the intermittently hot & cold water in the shower. We checked in here late Tuesday night, the room was nice, woke up to jack hammering ALL day! We called and they switched us Wednesday to this room now on 7th floor east side. Wednesday I went to take a bath and we had Luke warm water. The boiler went out and here we are Friday and still no hot water. Me and my family booked this room thinking it was going to a wonderful experience. It was our daughters first time there and they were beyond excited. Upon getting into our room it was as if everything was ok and the view was amazing. We noticed a weird smell when entering the room but didn’t think much of it.
