Terrible Terrible Terrible! I will never go back! Checked in for 2 nights, had to check out at 10am because of room change. When we finally got checked back in for night 2 our new room was next door to old room. Room 1 still needed house keeping, our food tray was still outside door. I saw housekeeping go in after we checked into room 2! Management needs training to say the least. They do not know what they are doing. They just dont care! Just a paycheck to them. Very unhappy.

Currently staying at the hotel. We have not had hot water the first 2 days of our stay so far. Staff has not been helpful in solving the issue at all. Every time you call for an update all you get is "we are working on it". No estimated time for it to be fixed. Nothing has been offered in place for the inconvenience of not having any hot water. We asked to switch rooms but were told "we are all booked". Service at the front desk is horrible and every time you call it's like you are the inconvenience for calling. Service is s... read more

Do not stay here! We recently spent a night for a quick getaway in the Penthouse at Emerald Grande. We are local so I think it's important to warn people of this establishment. Let me first say how disappointed we are as its a beautiful location and it's a shame it's managed the way it is. We had a camera stolen from our room the first time we went to the beach. I would like to say this is one of the worst times I've ever came here air-conditioning don't work water leaking from the roof phone don't work lightbulb out. So we called The front – to complain about the air conditioning and they tell my girlfriend to go get a bag ice for spending $6000 for the holiday with my family this place blows I used to enjoy his place but this will be my last time coming here

Worse experience that I have ever had staying at a resort. 1st day elevator was down and we had to take the stairs to get to our room. 2nd day we were unable to find a parking spot after drivinvg in the covered parking lot that we paid for in the price of our room for over 30 minutes. Stayed here two weeks ago for a family weekend. Rented a three bedroom corner suite so we could have plenty of room and cook a nice family meal to enjoy on the patio. To our surprise upon checking in late that night we discovered our sink was literally falling out of the counter. We immediately called the front desk and told them and were told they could put in a work order for a maintenance to come tonight (it was 11:30pm). This used to be my favorite place to stay in Destin. After my visit this week, I will never return and will encourage others not to, at least not at the current overly priced rates! There are comparable resorts with reasonable rates, better kept facilities, and more courteous management. Whitney, in particular should not be in management as she does not know how to handle customers with decency and respect. Great spa, but that's where it ends. Currently staying at the hotel, checking out today, and leaving VERY disappointed. The room was horrible: missing and damaged blinds, stained carpets, snowy TV, scuffed walls, and vents full of dust. Unacceptable for $300 a night. Brought these issues to the attention of the assistant manager Whitney and was told that I should've moved from room to room until I found one I liked. This will probably be my last visit.
