If you use them, realize they will quote a price and may jack it up after they see your yard. They do no appear to use illegal aliens, however, which is a plus to me.

Hello Customer. I'm very sorry you feel cheated. It was certainly not my intent. I tried to be as clear as possible on the coupon that there is a $10 charge for every 1000 square over 5000 and your lawn is 7000 sq ft.
It appeared to be completely ineffective.
They did an evaluation of the lawn first. The aeration appointment was open in other words I could not set the appointment in advance. They called the day before they came out. When they got here they aerated the lawn but in most of the lawn the machine only penetrated the soil a 1/4 of an inch. The crew said it was because the soil was too dry. We were not told to water before and we most likely couldn't of watered with the restrictions and the open appointment time. I feel like it was a waste of money. The appointment co... read more
I bought the deal and scheduled the service an hour later. Emerald came out 3 days later and performed the service leaving an invoice on the front door. This is the third time I have used them so they my lawn dimensionson hand and only charge an extra $10 for each 1000 square feet. I paid $25 for the deal + $10 for the extra - so $35 total for a 6500 square foot lawn!
It went well. We had a false alarm call telling us to get ready and water the yard and then no one came. They came out the next day, though, and were very apologetic.
I purchased the $25 coupon for weed control after reviewing the companies website. There, they claim to serve the "greater Austin area". However, the following week I received a call stating that they do not go to Manor. Being closer to Round Rock (where the business is located) than many many areas in "greater Austin", I can't help but wonder why Manor is off limits. I didn't know that they fertilized. They could have left a note or called. Aeration incomplete. They are redoing.
emerald lawns were prompt with there analysis of lawn condition. initial application of weed control and fertilizer was about a week later, but was not adequate. a few weeks later another technician returned and agreed that a reapplication was necessary and did so. however he left a $50.00 invoice on my door. the landscape manager contacted me a week or two later and said that invoice was a mistake and he personally came out and reapplied a liquid weed control on two separate occasions without charge. did i say my yard was i... read more
