I took my dog into the Emergency Animal Hospital of Collin County in early October because she was suffering from a cluster seizure. Their only plan of action was to take the pills I was already giving her to control her seizures, shove them down her throat and charge me $40 every time they did so, and tell them they were just going to have to "wait it out." I have been here for a poodles hip surgery years ago, we were referred...so we trusted and they did a good job on Gidget. The staff was a bit brash back then too. Well tonight I took my 11 yr old Boxer. She was bleeding from her mouth. It was getting worse through the day. So ..we went here. Recently a pup was brought into your office. He was turned away because of your fees to treat him & no options to try were offered to this family. At the least you could have recommended another ER. He had 15 seizures that night. His family brought him in again & you wanted money; treated him but it was too late because of your incompetence & he had to be put down. Was very upset to find out what happen to a friend last night .. She took her 10 month old Schnauzer puppy in to your ER this puppy had multiple seizures she didn't have the money for you to keep him so you told her to take the puppy home. At that time you should have said no we will keep him we can work out the bill. But she went home where he had over 15 seizures.. My friend took her 12 year old cat into your facility and was not pleased with your care. She loves her cat very much and would go to the moon and back for this beloved pet. You not only charged the first estimate, but also additional charges that she was unaware. She would never complain about the cost, just be honest with her. Her kitty went with her favorite blanket and she did not even get that back This ER hospital is not recommended for good service.

We took our dog in on 4th of July. I could tell when we walked in the door that it wouldn't be a good experience. The receptionist wasn't friendly and didn't seem like she was listening. Didn't even make eye contact. Waited for about an hour and a doctor came to tell us what was wrong with our dog. He didn't really tell us anything relevant other than she needed X-rays .
