Get directionsWe noticed our American Bulldog Dude was not acting right on Thursday night when we had gotten into bed; he was breathing weird and on the floor when usually he lays in bed with us for a bit. We got down on the floor with him and noticed he was pretty out of it. We decided he needed to be seen right away and my husband took him here while I stayed at home with my kids. Dude wasn’t walking right when we got him up and was acting as if in pain, my husband had to carry him into the car. This was around 930/10. He got there prob... read more

Brittany, please accept our deepest condolences! Losing a beloved family member is one of the hardest things to go through in life. We brought our dog in very ill on September 16th unfortunately there was nothing they could do so we had to make a very hard decision to have her put to sleep. we requested for her to be cremated and her ashes to be returned to us. They advised they would call us in 3-5 days so we could come pick her ashes up. We gave them a week and we started calling them and each time we called they just said that the ashes has not been returned yet. I emailed twice as well and NOTHING not one response. we would call again and finall... read more

Leala, thank you for taking time to speak with Dr. Severidt recently and Miranda, our lead CSR, last night. Losing a pet is extremely difficult, and words cannot express our sympathy for your overall experience and loss of Normina. As mentioned in your other reviews - after gaining insight, we'll revisit our communication process and ensure all is streamlined internally and with outside services, such as cremation. Please do not hesitate to contact us further if additional questions arise, and we appreciate your time spent t... read more
PLEASE READ - IMPORTANT The Emergency Animal Hospital of Collin County was recommended to me by my vet many, many years ago. Over that time period, employees come and go. Over the years, we have taken 3 pets to them for emergency care. Fortunately, nothing was too serious, but needed immediate attention. My 10 pound Shih Tzu swallowed a 5" No Hide Chew last night. I had just given one to both of my dogs. Within 5 minutes she was hacking as if she was trying to bring something out of her throat...she had not had it long en... read more
They killed my cat on purpose because I wanted to take her home.i believe she was given euthanasia in her heart to have the reaction I saw when I went to pick her up.Do not take your baby there.Dr.Woodruff and her staff even left me in the room with my dead baby and changed shifts and they left.

Cynthia, thank you for taking time to speak with our chief medical officer. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you. Best wishes!
You saved my puppy’s life this weekend. We were traveling through Texas and stopped in Dallas for the night. She suddenly became super sick and passed out. We frantically called you and drove as fast as we could as you gave us directions. You took her in within a minute of arriving and tested her for every toxin, pumped her stomach, gave her charcoal and an IV. By the next day she was normal! My two daughters thought they lost their dog and you saved her.

Insensitive and unreasonable especially in these times. Disgusting. Not a community based establishment doesn’t care about anything except money. They want $470 to tell me about a pre existing health condition of my 18 year old cat while he suffers and I’ve lost my job. ( not including treatment) No possibility of treating for a total obvious problem unless they run unnecessary test. They did let me know they will look at him for $120 and then charge me $350 for an unneeded ex ray but if I decline the X-ray it’s ok I’ll ju... read more

Amanda, we are sorry to hear that you felt frustrated by your recent visit here. We do understand times are difficult right now and scary. We are making every effort we can to continue to be here and create a safe environment for our patients, clients, and staff. Unfortunately, I cannot find your chart under this name in our system. Sometimes as our pets get older, even with a pre-existing condition, other medical issues can arise secondary to the pre-existing condition and diagnostics have to be preformed to see the whole p... read more
We had to take our dog, Bear, here on a Saturday afternoon because after being at our regular vet all week and then the diagnostic place that shares the same building as this ER, he kept getting worse. It was very busy and slow Saturday, in part because there was only one vet on duty, Dr. Rainey. Apparently, the other vet didn't come in due to a family emergency. The entire time spent there was approx. 3 hours or so, most of which was sitting out in the waiting room. The diagnosis by Dr. Rainey was that our dog had developed... read more

We are very sorry to hear you didn’t have a good experience with our hospital. We make it a priority to deliver excellent client and patient care to everyone who comes through our doors. Our Chief Medical Officer reached out to you last week to learn more about your situation but was unable to reach you. Is there a best time for you o have him to reach out to you again? Or please give us a call at your earliest convenience at 214-547-9900
Disappointed that we were priced gouged for Amoxicillin. $50 is just ridiculous! Shame on your for upcharging medications like that. I understand the visit and any lab work being more expensive late at night but charging an outrageous price on antibiotics is ridiculous!
