Get directionsWe had to take our dog, Bear, here on a Saturday afternoon because after being at our regular vet all week and then the diagnostic place that shares the same building as this ER, he kept getting worse. It was very busy and slow Saturday, in part because there was only one vet on duty, Dr. Rainey. Apparently, the other vet didn't come in due to a family emergency. The entire time spent there was approx. 3 hours or so, most of which was sitting out in the waiting room. The diagnosis by Dr. Rainey was that our dog had developed... read more
Disappointed that we were priced gouged for Amoxicillin. $50 is just ridiculous! Shame on your for upcharging medications like that. I understand the visit and any lab work being more expensive late at night but charging an outrageous price on antibiotics is ridiculous!
STAY AWAY!!!!! I couldn't be more disappointed with the service of the staff at this hospital. Our dog was diagnosed with cancer and needed a special compounded solution medication to slow the growth of the tumor that only a few select pharmacies can produce. I called at 8:30am to have the hospital call it in because they won't accept it directly from me. They informed me they would and would call me back when they do. I called back at 10am and they informed me they still hadn't called it in. I continued to wait and finall... read more
I have read these poor reviews and those negative comments, my experience was the exact opposite. My 86 lb. Goldendoodle “Cowboy” got into my purse and ingested 20 pieces of gum which contained Zylinol, which is extremely toxic to dogs. This happened Friday night after hours. I called before taking him in. They were waiting on him and took him right back. We were both treated with compassion and kindness every minute we were there. They had the discussion with me about the cost. I was very upset not because of the price... read more
Before you bring your fur baby to this facility, no matter what time of day it is, no matter if it is after hours, no matter how emergent the situation may seem..calm down, find another alternative. They are out there! Here is our beloved Pongo’s story. We found him casually looking through PetFinder.com in the spring of 2018. Pongo was heartworm positive and languishing at the City of Plano Animal Shelter. Upon seeing his kind eyes, we instantly knew he was perfect for our family, including our female Dalmatian baby, C... read more
I’ve waited almost 6 weeks for a $100+ refund, I’ve called the office 4 times and have not received a single call back. I ask for the corporate number to get some answers since it’s supposed to come from the corporate office and I’m given a generic answering machine 888 number. If this is how they treat a grieving pet Parent I’d hate to think how they treat pets.
This place is a scam. They could care less about your animal. Ask for a price before you go in. Their vets are incompetent. They charged me 3500 when my cat was in a diabetic shock and administered an overdose of a diuretic and killed my favorite animal. DO NOT BRING YOUR PET TO THIS SH***HOLE!
My 3 year old dog received a snake bite on his nose. I saw it happening and ran him to Emergency Animal Hospital of Collin County. They took him away from me immediately. after 30 minutes, I asked for an update, again at 45 minutes, then again at an hour. The hour mark I found a vet tech in the reception area chatting with the receptionist. She informed me my dog had not been seen or received treatment. He was alone, in pain face swelling and NO ONE was updating me to let me know the doctor wasn't available! I asked h... read more
NEVER EVER TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE!! I had a SICK DYING Frenchie on my arms, showed up and was granted a payment plan through Dion and the office manager. Did a transfer from another vet to Collin county, brought my puppy in with a catheter still in his arm puking blood. The front desk lady gave me attitude. I simply asked to speak to a manager or supervisor. She smirked and laughed at me and walked off. I was placed into a back room by another lady. Sat back there for about 20 min. Two ladies came in and said that the office ... read more
