I was given an initial quote based off of the boxes and furniture we had. Keep in mind we were accurate down to the box and gave the specific box sizes. We even called back and paid for additional space just to be safe. $1,300 invested in down payment/deposit. The day the movers arrived they straight up said we were misquoted and would have to pay an additional $1800 prior to moving. I understand being slightly off but $1,800 is a significant difference. Hello, We can have a manager reach out to you if you would like to discuss the issue with your move further. Your move did require an additional 100 cubic feet in the truck due to unsackable items. But the main service that caused the additional cost was the long carry fee. We could not park our truck within a reasonable distance of 75 feet from your residence.
Beware of this company! I requested a quote 5 days ago and finally got a call (would share the number but BBB wont let me). I told the guy that I had already found a moving company since my move is in the next few days and I requested the quote almost a week ago. He didn't even let me finish my sentence before hanging up on me. How rude and unprofessional!! If this is how they handle you on the front end if they aren't going to get your money, I wouldn't trust them to help me move my trash bin. Terrible customer service.

October 8th around 1:43 pm I signed a contract after speaking with ******* the salesperson to move some of my son things from Michigan to Texas. ******** the salesperson was calling me and acting so agreeable. Well once I finally decided on them based on the "consumer advocate rating" not knowing they were unprofessional and disrespectful. ***** ******* had moving services booked for less than 18 hours. We barley received the chance to provide services. We apologise that Ms ******* claims to have had such a bad experience within a few hours. The customer service department did not even speak to Ms Jenkins. All of the phone calls and access to customer files are recorded. Therefore if a customer service representative did speak to Ms ******* I would have been able to tell from the general log of access on Ms ******* file.
This company is no better than the bottom tier scamming companies. I was told by the salesman that I had twice the amount of space needed for my things and I could rest assure that the previous company I had spoken to - that was sub-par - was low tier and I had come to the right place(even though it was he that called me). This company is a complete scam. My fiance and I were going to use them and it became a complete nightmare. The worst customer service as well. They bait you in through their call center with complete misinformation and make you sign and place a deposit down AND THEN tell you what is ACTUALLY going to happen. 8 minutes ago I'm finally getting around to leaving a review. I was honestly hoping **** would reach out to me to resolve the issue but no such luck! We got a good bid for our move from NY to SC. **** made me feel like he understood how stressful this move was. When we spoke with ****, I asked him about boxes for my Two 32" TVs and he told me they would just be wrapped and it's covered. So I didn't need to buy boxes. Hired the co. to move my parent's belongings after they passed. Items of high value missing, and broken beyond repair. Held furniture on truck until we paid "additional"charges. BEWARE
I wish I could put zero stars, this company promised great service and that's nowhere near what happened. The carrier basically extorted me for money by inflating the binding estimate I was given, even tho I didn't add ANY extra items. I understand the stair fee, but not charging me for bulky items that the movers refused to disassemble and then charge me for more square footage.
