I really wish I had read reviews on this company before deciding to pick this company. I moved from Los Angeles, Ca to Las Vegas, NV. On the 1st call after going over all my items **** told me that it would cost me $2700, I agreed but after packing I noticed I had a total of 46 boxes not 30 as I told **** on the initial call that was made 2 months prior to moving and discovering that I had an extra 16 boxes. You had till 8/25/2021 to cancel and receive a refund per our cancelation policy. Our records also show that you spoke with quality assurance on 9/28 but did not sign an updated estimate reflecting the changes you made to your inventory. Do not use this company under any circumstances and here is why: * Empire Moving Group is a broker and they simply write the contract and pass the job on to another company to execute the move. Empire moving group is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with, if I could give them a minus star I would, If you are going to hire movers do not hire this co. you will regret it badly. Never at any point did **** ****** from Empire Moving Group, LLC ever mention that they weren't the actual moving company and were only a brokerage company. Worst experience ever! Empire is NOT the movers, they are only the broker, but they don't tell you that up front. They assured me they over compensated for room my items would fit into on the truck so I wouldn't get charged more later. Wrong, My estimate went up about $800 dollars when the Real movers showed up. I've moved many times in my life, and my experience with Empire has been by far the worst. Empire is a dishonest, poorly-run company. 1. Contrary to what Empire says in the replies here, Empire is never upfront about the fact they are a broker and not a moving company. In your call with Empire, their agent will take advantage of the hectic state you are in and rush you (pressuring that your preferred move-out date will be unavailable soon unless you contract immedaitely). Please Review my pictures, I have more to share but google won't let me upload more, Empire group are brokers and hand your job over to small start up moving companies and several in some cases to move your things. My move was handled by 2 sets of movers. ********!!!!!! They will tell you that they will move all your stuff for a certain price. Knowing good and well that not even a third of your stuff will be moved for that amount quoted. BE SMART AND NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.
