this Company does not care about there customers they set me up for a move On May 3 from Madison heights, Michigan and needless to say my furniture is still in Michigan. it is now June 3,2021 and I still don't have my furniture In Texas . they passed me off to A company called Household Hauling LLC , I have made a total of 2 deposits and household Hauling LLC is holding my furniture and has no ETA or A driver But has the nerve to ask for more money Now I could see if they where going to deliver but from the looks of it they ... read more

Hello, According to your file it shows that you were not ready for delivery immediately. In these instances your items are put into the warehouse until a first available date for delivery is received,. Once we have the availability times you are then put onto the logistic dispatch schedule. There have been substantial delays in the transportation industry this year due to a shortage in drivers an aftermath on COVID. The carrier has stated that you items have also been delivered already.
They charged my card without permission and took $3000.00 When I tried to resolve the matter by contacting them they told me it was a deposit and I can't get any money back. I told them I was informed I was putting my card on file to receive a quote and that they were not supposed to charge me. They told me I was liable for the 3000.00. This is a monhs wages and I have children to suport. I was in tears over this experience. I feel robed. Please never use this company.

Terrible. Documents said move was 4/30 - 4/30. Turns out stuff isn't able to be delivered until the following day. Not communicated. Don't have a place to sleep tonight. Thanks for nothing.

Hello, You were picked up on 4/30. We do not guarantee same day delivery unless that services is purchase in advance. If course with any relocation if it is under 300 miles we do our best to get it delivery to you in a timely fashion. I had a scheduled pickup today from 3-6PM. NO ONE EVER SHOWED UP! When I contacted Empire they said the driver was experiencing delays and would arrive at 8:30. It is midnight now and still, NO PICKUP. Even worse, no one is answering phones so we are stuck in out apartment with all of our belongings boxed up.

WORSE COMPANY I HAVE EVER, EVER DEALT WITH. THEY QUOTED A PRICE AND WHEN THE MOVERS SHOWED UP (EMPIRE IS JUST A BROKER), i WAS CHARGED 3X'S AS MUCH AS THE QUOTE.

We base the estimates off the information that is provided to us and you are given a locked in rate per cubic foot. If I could put no stars I would. Our stuff has been God knows where for a month. We're living in our new home on air mattress so the kids can go to school. Worst most unprofessional company I've ever seen. No communication. Constantly blaming others. Awful. Horrible. Not words to describe the horrific experience we have had with them. They will be hearing from our lawyers to say the least.

Don't Do It. Trust me because I'm saving you time, gray hair and money. I chose them because they quoted us about $1000.00 less. The rest is just like what you've heard before - "you get what you pay for"..then I ended up paying that difference too. 1. Beware. Unethical practices that stop just shy of being illegal. My background: 12 years military, 6 prior cross country moves, second move involving non-government contracted movers. I chose to hire movers myself vice using those provided by the military in hopes of preserving several nice pieces of furniture/antiques. Do not use this company for any reason! I had my wife initially call them to get a quote on moving us from Rochester NY to Florida. "*****" talked her through the estimate by using our real estate listing and looking at the pictures and estimated that we would need 905 cubit feet of space for an estimate of $5,100 dollars of which we had to give them a non-refundable deposit of $1,800.
