I would not recommend this rehab hospital if it was the only one in the state of Nevada or even United States for that matter. The nursing staff did not notify me when my mom was asking for me. Instead, they called me after she had passed away. I did not have closure with my mom due to their lack of communication and negligence. The nursing staff was not attentive to her either. Unfortunately I've changed my rating from 5 to 1. I've been caregiving for my dad 2 years straight with no major issues. In 6 days of being admitted to EncompassRehab, his BP wasn't checked timely, his oxygen wasn't addressed properly, his workout too vigorous and now I have the worst decision of my entire life of either ending his life support by hospice or watch him suffer, while hoping he can recover. After my elderly father was here for a week, I would NOT return. The people are great and friendly, but to me it's "Motel 6" vs "Holiday Inn" where encompass is Motel 6. No matter how great the staff is, the facility and management are 2nd rate and just don't have quality, items, everything that I would expect. It's like they want to save as much money as they can on room maintenance, patient equipment and supplies. I advise, look at the reviews of the different rehab facilities, they are accurate. After significant review of a variety of acute hospitals, I chose in Nevada. Information from friends, associates, website, exploration, advertisement to point to this as THE facility for my rehab needs. They advertise to therapies predicated on your health requirements - sounds good right? So, I got my insurance company to approve, and the previous that provided my health procedures also accepted my choice. Patient rights and human decency mean little in this facility. Staff members have zero qualms harassing and bullying a senior on permanent disability. Charge nurse Anne lied easily, and the other charge nurses will gaslight to protect each other. One of their male doctors admitted that he didn't care if my mom stayed or left as he gets paid no matter what. A senior, recovering from surgery, his own patient. An individual literally paid to care as caring provides proper treatment, couldn't care less if my mom gets discharged ... read more
